Gutted that @onlinehyphen's parent company is to consult on laying off our entire newsroom. It's been a privilege to work with the talented team on high-impact stories. Editors, if you're hiring, myself and 17 other first-rate journos will likely soon be entering the job market.

🔴 Sad to say that Hyphen’s parent company is consulting on shutting the website and laying off all of its staff, including me.
It’s obviously devastating news for a superb team whose journalism has had real impact this week alone. I’m so proud to have worked alongside them. 🧵
