Apple TV is home to “Severance” and “Ted Lasso.” But our critic thinks this underrated program is the streaming site’s best offering by a mile. newyorker.com/culture/on-tel…

The only thing that could cool me off is to jump naked into a pool.”Zach: “Are you asking me to go with you?”Charlize:
“The image of me and you… me naked in a pool with a fat garden gnome.”Zach’s final line:
“I hope your dog dies.”

"John Wick 3" and "Billions" star Asia Kate Dillon says acting jobs have "all but diminished” after 11 years in the industry, so they are now seeking customer service work.
"I love customer service. I love creating welcoming environments for people to relax in and connect with each other. I love food and drink. I am passionate and curious, and a great teammate. I imagine the hurdle to reentry will be learning the new POS systems, but I’m a quick study. I’m available for part time, night and weekend work."

Only adherence to the firm's principles and values prevents opportunistic behavior that may have short-term benefits but long-term adverse consequences.” - David H. Maister
Wait… is Rump just doing a poor Rodney impression?
The great Norm Macdonald (d. 2021) would have turned 67 today. A true comedian's comedian.
Macdonald never hid his admiration for the legendary Rodney Dangerfield, whom he called his comedy idol. In a 2011 interview, he fondly recalled Dangerfield's 1996 Weekend Update cameo on Saturday Night Live, describing it as one of the highlights of his time on the show. For Macdonald, sharing the desk with his hero was a dream come true.
