Fantasy thoughts after the San Francisco 49ers beat the Los Angeles Rams in the first ever Australia game:
The Rams looked human. Early favorites to set all sorts of records, LA couldn't get anything going through the air, the ground game was alright, and the hyped up defense struggled to slow down the Niners, after a first half interception.
Stafford had thrown a TD in 17 of 17 games last year, but is 0 for 1 this year. Whether it was miscommunication or the jetlag, he was off-target a lot. I don't expect this to continue.
Davante Adams had a concerningly low snap count, especially in the red zone. Adams was a TD machine last year and needs to be on the field in those situations to warrant be a starting WR in fantasy.
The Rams Defense was not as advertised (yet). Hopefully you didn't take them with a 7th round pick (shoutout PistolDawg in my home league).
Terrance Ferguson owners may have gotten blanked, but his snap share being 70+% through 3 quarters was a great sign. Expect him to be an important part of the offense this year.
The Niners, on the other hand, looked great. The substation came for Stribling and Tonges, though, and we'll have to see what the severity of their injuries were.
Purdy is looking like a late-round steal once again. His connection with Mike Evans was on full display, as they hit for 6/49/1. Deebo had a nearly identical statline going 6/48/1.
CMC owners may have been concerned about what seemed like a split backfield, but this is not out of the ordinary. Expect CMC to dominate touches in the coming weeks, especially after generating 6.8 YPC for the first time since 2023. Kaelon Black should be picked up immediately for any dynasty teams, though.

Josh Jacobs is now likely looking at 2-6 game suspension based on previous cases like this. The odds of his video being leaked are lower because it's his own footage from his own house.
Fantasy thoughts after the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots:
Jadarian Price has the juice, but is going to be held back by the RB rotation possibly worse than K9 was last year. Sell if you can.
JSN can still make it work with Drew Lock. If your leaguemates are scared of the Darnold injury, go get him.
Drake Maye looked like a rookie. Make sure you have a serviceable backup when he has to play teams with records above .500
Romeo Doubs was a nightmare. Don't even consider putting him in your FLEX until further notice.
Rhamondre Stevenson caught some heat online, but he was actually better than expected. Nearly 100 all-purpose yards, no fumbles, and managing 51 yards with 50 of them coming AFTER contact. If your leaguemates are terminally online, go and get him for cheap.

Breaking: The #Giants and QB Jameis Winston have agreed to a 2-year, $13M extension, per sources.
Winston has become invaluable to the Giants’ QB room as a leader, a key part of Jaxson Dart’s development, and someone the organization views as the best backup QB in football. The deal was done by @WinSportsGroup.
Some #Bears injuries to keep an eye on before the start of the season.
Great news for emerging #Cardinals WR Michael Wilson. After a legendary run last year, Wilson gets a big extension.
Cardinals reached agreement Wednesday with standout WR Michael Wilson on a three-year extension that keeps him in Arizona through the 2029 season, per me and @RapSheet. Wilson is expected to sign the deal today.
He’s baaaaack! #Rams are officially bringing back Aaron Donald.
🚨 🚨 🚨
AD is B-A-C-K: #Rams star Aaron Donald is coming of retirement to play for his old team with a 1-year, $20M deal with playoff incentives up to $30M, per me and @AdamSchefter.
After two seasons away, Donald will play alongside Myles Garrett in a star-studded D-line.
The next step in the Josh Jacobs saga has arrived. #Packers RB Josh Jacobs will be placed on the commissioner exempt list and will miss time.
ESPN sources: NFL is placing Packers RB Josh Jacobs on the commissioner exempt list.
Last week Jacobs was charged with battery and criminal damage to property, both misdemeanors, by the Brown County (Wis.) district attorney.
Jacobs was originally arrested May 26 on five counts, including one felony.
