Don't ask "What do you want to get done today?" At 10am, hold out her shoes. "We're walking to get coffee." Once she's moving, she'll pick the next thing herself. All she ever needed was someone to take the first step with her.

As someone who has BPD the best thing I ever did for myself was to stop manufacturing crises that alienated me from the people around me. The crisis is your illness speaking and it's not real. They're just shit tests designed for attention and an attempt to give your life specialness and meaning in the void of your empty soul. Focus on enriching your life and helping others and you'll find much deeper connections. People want to help someone who is drowning. They reflexively recoil at someone who falls face first into a puddle every week and starts choking because they just want help.
