He couldn’t get enough of it, of her. His salvation. That’s what she was. He might be a monster, might be a worthless, soulless demon, but here, in his arms—here was his salvation. His lone chance at joy. From the flush in her cheeks, the feverish gleam in her eyes, he knew she felt the same.

and i still believe that elain and azriel have done nothing wrong and everybody clutching their pearls is exaggerating.
notice how not a single person claiming to be a fan of the character is actually addressing this, but god forbid you point out that they only see her as a potential romantic pairing for azriel because they can’t stand the idea of him being with elain.
girl, that’s my >perception< of people. i’m talking about how the character is treated by people who claim to care about her. i never dismissed her history, her arc, or her pain as a character.
if you interpret that as an attack, that’s entirely on you. i’m not responsible for how you feel when you come across opinions you disagree with online.

gwynriels are way too self assured and loud for a ship that have nothing. and they're TOO arrogant for a ship that's glued like a fly to honey to azriel's shadows and siphons (which he can't stand)

“Cliches are boring”
me when the characters say “it’s you, it’s always been you” and start kissing
it made me cry because that’s how me and my sisters spent the night when i told them i was SAed growing up. sisters bond are the most powerful and i’m sure sarah will deliver their healings as sisters in the next books.
notice how i never attacked the character or her fanbase, yet they’re in my quotes attacking me and dragging feyre and nesta into it, claiming elriels are attacking them too when that wasn’t even part of the discussion. apparently they can’t defend their fave without turning it into an accusation against everyone else.
