Nadeau said she recognizes that parking enforcement can have a disproportionate impact on low-income drivers. She said she'd like to see the council rethink fines with "wealth and inequality in mind." (That would be a much bigger lift than her enforcement expansion bill.)

Could not be more proud of our teams at both Caruso’s. So much delicious food in the region we don’t take being on this @washingtonpost list of 40 essential dishes for granted

A public pool ruined by poor planning. The reflecting pool too. It is easy to say let’s build a championship course here. It is a lot harder to understand why this particular piece of land makes that a terrible idea. Please do not ruin this place. motherjones.com/politics/202…

An incredible honor to be included among Chef @chefjoseandres’ favorite immigrant-owned restaurants in D.C. Thank you, Chef, for your generosity and for using your voice to celebrate the people that make our food community so special. And thank you @foodandwine for telling these stories.
My first post, recounting the evening of January 29, 2025, is now live. Read it, feel uncomfortable, and — if you're in a position to do anything at all to prevent anyone else from having to go through it — please do it. 6/6

Totally playable. Some are saying that these are the most playable greens ever seen.

The administration is trying to gut Section 106, the historic preservation law that exists to protect public spaces from exactly this kind of overreach. Rules like this exist for a reason. If they can be changed to suit whoever is in power, you do not have rules. You have nothing. All so one person can impose his will on Washington DC. cnn.com/2026/07/21/politics/…
