Most domainers probably have never heard of MEV. Yet on Oct 30, one company in that space collected $24.7m in fees in 24 hours. Why mevbot.com matters 🧵

MEV in plain words: bots that earn money from the order in which crypto transactions get processed. Over $1 billion in MEV on Ethereum alone, per the EU's markets regulator ESMA. About 93% of Ethereum blocks are now built by specialized builders who package MEV bot trades.

Most of the big players run on .xyz, .io or .app. The .com for the exact term the whole industry uses is available: mevbot.com

Completely missed the .si train — the whole thing felt way too close to the classic NFT / ENS club pump-and-dumps I’ve seen too many times. Different game though when Trump, Elon and co. start acting as the main KOLs for the “Super Intelligence” narrative😄 GG to everyone who made solid flips (or maybe even hold great long-term assets ). MEV bot to the rescue 🫡 Well, that's a new perspective. Good PR for MEV bots - and for MEVbot.com 🥳
I got 85% of my ETH back 🥳 5.045 ETH came back and 0.89 ETH went to the MEV operator for fee + bounty as they requested it No words for what I am feeling right now, I thought there is no hope and this is the first time I ever seen a MEV return funds Super grateful 💙

Revoked my approvals an hour too late and lost $1.3k in WETH to the Magic Eden / Limit Break Payment Processor exploit. Not a massive bag compared to what some people got hit for, but it still feels like shit.

It’s been a while since I’ve received a solid offer on one of my first/last name ENS domains. Price dropped to 0.5 ETH

I finally surpassed the 300-domain mark. That was supposed to be my maximum. Me today: “500 is probably the sweet spot.” 😂 Please tell me I’m not the only one…

Genuine question for fellow domain investors. My recent sale of Avoryn.com has me rethinking my nameserver strategy. I paid 25% in commission as I used Atom premium landers for this name (as opposed to 15% if I used Afternic NS). Most of my sales come through Afternic anyway. Does it still make sense to keep using Atom Premium landers? What's your setup?
Sold on @Afternic 🎉 HT: 5 months Acquisition cost: $ 70 (expired auction) My highest DNS sale so far. Grateful for the buyer and looking forward to seeing what they build with it.

Confession: Two months ago I was ready to accept $3k for Avoryn dot com. In the end I held on and it sold for more than double the amont. Patience doesn't always pay off, but this time it definitely did. 🧘
