We've been fortunate compared with our friends and colleagues in South Wales so far. But the number of critically ill patients with COVID-19 in North Wales hospitals has doubled in the four days since Xmas Eve. Please. Be sensible. Be safe. This won't be forever.

From a nurse to all the doctors out there. THANK YOU. I don’t think we say it enough. I think we forget that many of you are a lot younger than us. What I saw some of our doctors have to deal with yesterday, and many other days, was so difficult. We really do appreciate you all.

A new wave of #covid19 is crashing into hospitals in London and the UK There is no clapping this time. No rainbows in the window. No free food and drink. Everyone is shattered by this whole year. But...the #NHS is stepping up to meet the challenge again. Absolutely incredible.

We had similar issues 10 years ago when we introduced Adv Nurse Practitioners to our surgery. We found explaining the benefits to our patients and enabling our Receptionists to pass this information on the key. Now some refuse to see the doctor and only wish to see our ANPs.
