Big well done to my esteemed colleague @fillyonform on the @DExpress_Sport Her nap Reveur wins at 33-1 at Donny and, for good measure, she tipped up Kingofthefrontier (20-1) at Cheltenham. #doublebubble

The Prime Minister presented a special recognition award at the Pride of Britain Awards to honour the founders of Andy’s Man Club, Elaine and Luke.
In 2016, Andy Roberts, Elaine’s son and Luke’s brother-in-law, tragically took his own life at just 23 years old. The pair went on to create Andy's Man Club, a male suicide prevention charity that has grown from a single group in Halifax to more than 360 groups nationwide.
Through its mission to break the stigma around men’s mental health, Andy’s Man Club has saved thousands of lives and inspired men to speak up when they need help 🤝

Marcus Townend Fundraiser
About Marcus
After time with local newspapers and the Sporting Life, he worked for the Daily Mail for 35 years, graduating to becoming its racing editor and correspondent – a diligent, principled, talented and tenacious journalist.
Marcus's accident
It is nearly a year since Marcus fell off his bike and suffered the first of three bleeds in his brain. Three months later, he had gradually recovered well enough from the first two to spend a month at home. The third bleed, which occurred at the end of March, following a plate insertion to repair his skull, proved the most damaging, from which he is still recuperating. Too late, he was finally diagnosed in July to have mild haemophilia. Despite his amazing determination to communicate clearly, self care and mobilise, he will require ongoing neurophysiotherapy and much care from others to achieve his independent potential.
How you can help?
This year's HWPA Derby Awards Lunch (Monday 7th December) will be combined with a fundraiser for Marcus..

Bay City Roller and his lad in the pre-parade at Ascot today before the Champion Stakes. I think the importance of a horse’s connection and relationship with their groom is rather understated in terms of relaxing horses pre race. These two look totally in harmony with each other. So lovely to see.

Ed Bethell on the decision to retire Regional: "It's mixed emotions.
"He's the toughest horse you could have anything to do with and it's sad because it's the end of an era. He's a gentleman and is going to live at home with me. He'll be ridden in some capacity, but he can eat as much grass as he wants and enjoy his life.
"We pride ourselves in trying to get longevity out of our horses and it was amazing to see what he did on his last start, but at the same time I was always very conscious with a horse like him that he retires at a good level – I didn't want to see him slip down into handicaps.
"He didn't deserve that and we're going out on a high rather than trailing in down the field. He owes us nothing and has given us memories that will last a lifetime."
🗣️ "I'm a big dreamer and I'll continue to dream until the day I die"
