There's a genuine buzz in the Point over the bridge, wonder how the Omeath people feel - change on the way.
Another part of the Narrow Water Bridge safely docked at Warrenpoint Harbour this morning.

The second of these options is not a bad bet.

"I keep seeing beautiful things and I can't help but wonder, will I have an opportunity to see them again?" Ciara Mageean speaking to RTÉ earlier this year. Such strength & bravery. #RIP

This is getting worse by the day for @aosnodaigh and @sinnfeinireland and also for the Charities Regulator. Millions of taxpayers monies down the drain and into the pockets of criminal gangs. Heads need to roll or no one will believe that there's any accountability in Ireland.
One trustee at Liberty Recycling, whose job it was to keep the charity honest, was employed by the now liquidated charity in a role that made her directly answerable to the CEO... as Charity Regulator lays bare their inaction trib.al/8LIiYHO

Incredible work by Michael O'Farrell in this week's Irish Mail on Sunday in exposing the scandal of Liberties Recycling, the charity whose chair is SF TD Aengus O'Snodaigh. While we still don't have the precise sums of money and leakage from the charity and the criminal organisations (plural) linked to the charity, thanks to the Mail, we have the skeleton. They spoke with neighbours, they doorstepped the son, they received a solicitors letter, they scrutinised it and the solicitor, they have put in the hard yards this week. Recommend buying a copy. We reproduce one extract which demonstrates just how asleep at the wheel O'Snodaigh has been, and that's putting it charitably. He isn't accused of criminal malfeasance. His Dail register is materially wrong.
Very confused report in Irish Mail on Sunday today, but an overlooked fact last week about the Liberties Recycling Training and Development CLG garda raids, is the fact that SF TD Aengus O'Snodaigh also claims an official role with what he calls "Liberties Global Exports", but which the Companies Registration Office calls "Liberty Global Exports CLG", this is not a registered charity but shares the address of the charity. See Tweet below which explained all of that last Thursday. [it should be said that O'Snodaigh's register of interests in the Dail, doesn't describe the full name of the entities of which he is an official, and in the case of Liberty Global Exports CLG, he gets the name wrong calling it "Liberties Global Exports", should also be said that Mail on Sunday describes the private operation as 30 years old, when in fact Liberty Global Exports CLG was just registered in 2024, Mail on Sunday also gets the name of the charity wrong, very confused]
