It seems 18th March is our Spawn Day.
Last year:

2 years ago we installed a small pond in our garden.
A neighbour gave us a small jar of frogspawn, of which 20 made it to tadpole stage and a few to frog stage too. We haven't seen a single frog in the garden since then, but it seems some have now returned!

Cinematographers and other lighting wizards, help me out!
I simply can't work out how this is lit.
Where is the light placed which appears to come from the top window?
I suspect it might be the light in front of the man's head, but it's the wrong shape, unless it's flagged?

Once again, every single leaf, every blade of grass, absorbs CO2. The sludge in the bottom of your pond, your lawn, the wood of trees, the soil (if you look after it) holds CO2. (1)

A shot from a wedding proposal I captured on Calton Hill last week. Despite the fading light and freezing temperatures, it was busy on parts of the hill, so I had to apply a little lighting and photoshop magic to make my couple stand out…
The name Barnbougle comes from "bar an bugel", which I'm sad to report has nothing to do with neither bars nor bugles...
Jolly nice castle though.
Fun fact: the name ‘Barnbougle’ comes from the British 'bar an bugel' which means 'shepherd's hill top' - referring to the high ground which rises immediately behind the beautiful shore overlooking the grazings around the mouth of the Cockle Burn 🌊⛰️

Looks like it's going to be an expensive month for the Daily Mail.
Having had photos stolen by them in the past for a nasty story I would never have given my permission for, I heartily approve.
