The reason I don’t take stan war cancellations seriously is because they almost always come from a place of insincerity. The goal is to “get one over” on a rival fandom, not actually advocate for social justice.   Swifties used to be the best at this. Any time someone challenged her, like clockwork you’d start seeing shit like “Olivia’s problematic history – A THREAD” I don’t know who/why the Slayyter stuff got dug up and frankly Im too old to care.
