With this crime, the Zionist regime has prepared for itself a bitter, painful fate, which it will definitely see.

You may be far from the shrine, but that does not mean you are far from the Imam (as).

The shia of Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (a) get their strength from the most horrific and brutal battle of all times. Shahis Harith Al-Sudani | one of the worlds greatest spies Harith Al-Sudani, the Iraqi spy, one of the worlds greatest spies, acted as Al-Abbas did on the 10th of Muharram, despite all complications and risks. Harith Al-Sudani was a very skilled and experienced spy whose place of work was in the middle of ISIS. He had performed many missions, saving thousands of lives, stoping tens of bombings and attacks. One of which had a target set on the holy city of Karbala. After a series of heroic actions, ISIS grew suspicious of Harith, suspecting him of spying. They called him for a mission to confirm their suspicions: delivering a car filled with explosives to a civilian area. Harith knew that if he didn’t redirect the car to a safe location, innocent lives would be lost, and their blood would be on his hands. Al-Abbas went to bring water, knowing there would be no return and that his time had come. Yet, he chose to go because it was his humanitarian duty to act. Some may call it suicide, but what if he stayed? What if he didn’t try to help or put others’ lives above his own? He would have been remembered as someone who cared more for his own survival than for the dignity of his people. for someone who chose humiliation over dignity. Harith Al-Sudani mentioned this story to his brother before he left to fulfil his last obligation. He bid farewell to his brother, saying “Al-Abbas went to bring water, he went because of a humanitarian reason (to save lives) knowing the outcome of that, and my job is to protect the lives of people…” His brother asked him to reconsider, knowing that there will be no return from this mission. ISIS had figured it out through the stupidity of some zionist ba’thist “iraqi” channels, and cursed individuals. ISIS had plotted against him, they wanted him to come back to their base, so they could end this once and for all. Harith was also asked by his brother, after refusing to back down; “with what logic are you thinking” (what logic has made you think like this, upon what reasoning are you moving) and Harith’s answer was “with the logic of the people who know what happened on the day of Al-Taff (battle of karbala)” Harith was unaware of their complete certainty with his spying, but he knew, that if he did not go on this mission, people would die. And the reason why he started this spying mission in the beginning, was to save lives. There was a 99% chance of it being a trap, but Harith decided to disregard the 99% and focus on that 1%, which would have caused innocent deaths. He and those around him knew that this would be the last time they would ever see him. And they were right. Until today, not even his body has been found. Through the pen of the respected brother Ridwan (@ali_p511): “The show Al-Naqeeb has ended. But Harith Al-sudani did not end. His soul remains telling the story of honour and sacrifice. The drama was not just a set of scenes, but an actual life. This show brought life back to a heroism that will never die. When drama is employed to convey the stories of martyrs and heroes. It doesn’t just immortalise names, but also awakens the conscience, it instills the spirit of sacrifice in future generations. So that their impact remains as a testimony that doesn’t fade…nor is it erased.” Sometimes, it is required for one person to sacrifice themselves to save thousands/millions of other lives. In karbala, there were 72 of them, from Ali Asghar, to Imam Al-Hussain, peace be upon them. And in iraq, we had millions of these people. And one of these heroes, was Shahid Harith Al-Sudani. May Allah (swt) grant us their intercession, by the weight of the upcoming layale qadr.

Sayyid Al-shuhada (as) was prevented from making any progress towards Kufa by Yazid’s army, which left him with only a few of his most righteous and loyal companions. He knew they stood no chance against this great army of trained soldiers. In any other circumstance, under any other leader, these companions would be cornered and would have had no way out of martyrdom whether they wanted it or not. Imam al-Hussain (as) did not coerce them with an ultimatum-like-fatwa that would make turning away and walking home be haram upon them. Rather he gave them an option with no consequences, and in fact its own unqiue reward, where they get to choose between staying and leaving without risking their akhira. Him giving them an alternative choice and them still choosing death over a longer happy life proves to us that you do not need something to become an ultimatum for you to pick it. It also proves that there are other avenues to serve the Imam. Similarly, today, some people are (wrongfully) concerned by Seyed Ali Sistani’s (ha) stance in not issuing a fatwa yet, even going to the lengths of slandering him and Najaf as a whole. Acting as if the only way their bodies will move towards freedom and fight oppression and injustice is through a marja’ ordering them to do so, and not because they themselves feel the responsibility to.

my want to learn farsi was mainly because i yearned for the ability to listen to him speak to my heart directly, instead of translated versions that can rarely convey the beauty of his words. even going to the extent of revising the language through his speeches..
i love how Sayed speaks in such a clear manner, most scholars speak so fast and merge words together which makes it extremely hard to understand what they’re saying
