This is the former St Mark’s Church.
The Grade II listed building dates back to the 1870s. Planning permission for use as a place of worship and cultural centre was granted in 2025.
It is now Edgware Road Mosque.

ANOTHER PIECE OF BRITAIN’S PUB HERITAGE LOST
It’s not just former churches.
The historic Withy Trees pub in Fulwood, Preston, closed in 2019 after serving the community for generations. The building was subsequently converted into Noorani Masjid, a mosque and “teaching” centre.
A pub with a history stretching back to at least 1849 is no longer a pub. Another part of our traditional social life has disappeared.
Now just another tool used to mock us.

Five young savages sentenced for swarming, robbing and battering innocent people in Bradford—including two teenage boys and a lone visitor from the North East.
One 15yo forced to empty an ATM after being surrounded at the Interchange. Another attacked, then attacked again with a baseball bat after a passerby intervened. A 16yo chased, punched, kicked and smashed in the head with an aftershave bottle (broken nose, flashbacks, still waiting on surgery). “Shall we do him?” was the group’s considered response when one victim asked for his stuff back.
Fahed Nouaimi (19) and his brother Ahmad (22) both Syrian nationals got 37 and 32 months. The rest of the group (Ayman Albadien, Kenny Abdoul Katie, Mohammed Fakraoui) walked out with suspended sentences, unpaid work and, in one case, a temporary ban from Bradford. Judge noted it might have been “mistaken identity.” Lucky the kid didn’t die, basically.
Nothing to see here. Just another normal week of random group violence against random locals and visitors. Extremely diverse and vibrant. Carry on.

🚨 PAEDOPHILE WHO FILMED HIMSELF ABUSING A TODDLER JAILED FOR 14 YEARS
Andrew McAdam, 36, of Mayfield, Edinburgh, sexually abused a baby aged between 12 and 18 months over five months, filming the abuse and sharing footage with another offender.
But his offending went even further. The High Court in Glasgow heard that McAdam remotely encouraged and incited Connor Cashmore to rape a separate young boy in England. Cashmore was sentenced separately to 20 years in prison.
McAdam was caught after a Greater Manchester Police investigation linked him to indecent images found on another offender’s phone. Police Scotland examined his devices and uncovered communications with multiple offenders, including encouragement to abuse children and the sharing of child sexual abuse material.
His crimes also included sexual communications, sexual exposure and public indecency. He even filmed himself exposing himself on the upper deck of a bus in Edinburgh city centre.
The toddler’s parents described the devastating impact on their family, including the fear of one day having to explain to their son what had been done to him.
Lord Scott said McAdam had shown no convincing or meaningful remorse and had minimised his responsibility. The judge described his culpability and the harm caused as extremely high.
McAdam admitted nine charges covering March 2023 to September 2024.
He received an extended sentence of 14 years — ten-and-a-half years in custody followed by three-and-a-half years on licence.
He was also placed on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely and given an indefinite order prohibiting contact with his direct victim.
A child barely out of infancy was subjected to prolonged sexual abuse, while the offender encouraged further abuse of another child.

Why on earth aren't students at Oxford refusing to be taught by a man acting out his sexual fetish in the workplace? This is beyond creepy.

🚨⚠️ A migrant living in a London hotel accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a West End bar cried in court as he complained that his English is 'limited'.
Bashir Hotak, 23, was staying in a hotel in east London at the time of the alleged sex attack in Simmons Bar, Leicester Square, on June 29.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with sexual assault and assault by beating.
He was assisted by a Persian interpreter in the Dari dialect and began to cry when asked to enter pleas.
After a break, Hotak's solicitor said he could no longer represent him.
When told he needed to find new representation Hotak said: 'How? I'm not well, I have very limited English, I'm being seen by doctors and I'm on a lot of medication.'
Amanda Barron, chairing a bench of three magistrates, told him: 'You Google law firms near where you live, it's not difficult.
'You've had the opportunity of a lawyer today and he can no longer act for you.'
She adjourned the hearing until November 10 and bailed Hotak on condition he does not contact the alleged victim or go to Simmons Bar in Leicester Square.
Ms Barron said: 'Your lawyer is no longer acting for you, I'm going to give three weeks in order to be back at court which gives you time to find a new lawyer.
'It's up to you, it's your life, your responsibility.
'If you break either of those conditions you will be arrested by police and brought to court in custody and the bail position would be reviewed.'
Hotak, of east London, is charged with sexual assault on a female and assault by beating. He did not enter pleas during the hearing.
He was seen laughing and sticking up his middle finger as he left court.

130 YEAR OLD CHURCH BECOMES ISLAMIC CENTRE IN ROCHDALE
Spotland Methodist Church in Rochdale has been converted into the Spotland Islamic Centre.
The former church contained a war memorial window commemorating those who died in the First and Second World Wars.
A concern has been raised with the War Memorials Trust, which has been asked to investigate what happened to the memorials.
How can this be allowed to happen?

Spain, 2026. What you see is not bad luck, it's a pattern. Today near Urda, Toledo, a Renfe AVE hit a stopped Iryo train at full speed: 68 dead, over 100 injured. Carriages derailed, thrown down a 4-meter embankment. And it's not an isolated case. Nine months ago, the Adamuz disaster killed 46 on the same Madrid-Seville line. Earlier this year, two other deadly crashes in Barcelona and Cordoba. While trains keep derailing, the minister was busy making jokes about Renfe and glamour.
