The trees have never cared about our opinions. Plants grow toward light without the performative certainty of the pundit. They spend their lives rooted, reaching, receiving. They understand something about patience that my restless mind has forgotten.

Think about where God would be if Eric Trump hadn't saved Him.
"We're saving Christianity. We've saving God. We've saving the family unit. We're saving this nation. I mean, DEI is out of the window…”
- Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump. @atrupar.
excellent!

Tom Skerritt was pure class; every time he stepped in front of a camera, he delivered.
Once described as a “character actor locked in a leading man’s body,” he made it all look effortless.
Rest easy, Viper.

New reporting from @zeteo_news reveals that even after Mike Huckabee was confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to Israel in April 2025, his family's travel company, Blue Diamond Travel, is still taking Americans on pricey trips to Israel. The company, which is now operated by Huckabee's son, promises attendees they'll "hear from top Israeli officials."
"Huckabee has been bringing people to Israel since 1981 to tour the land he reveres so deeply. He’s brought thousands of people to Israel on excursions that have come to cost over $5,000, including airfare, accommodations, meals, transportation, and possible run-ins with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."

My Latest: We turned college into a four-year summer camp with classes on the side. Then we wondered why it got so expensive. My argument: the crisis began when “Where will my child learn?” became “Where will my child have the best experience?” (1/2)
Israel claims a farmer needs Israel's permission to harvest his own olives and not having permission justified the mass detention of a large group of people harvesting olives.
This was not about harvesting olives.
It was about harvesting headlines.
Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation.
Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination.
What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required.
He chose to ignore those instructions.
At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order.
Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection.
Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.

We should all be much less concerned about what our opponents do than in who we become while opposing them.
WOW -- Vance *defends* Ramaswamy's reprehensible ad 👇
Q: Ramaswamy's campaign put out a controversial ad featuring his opponent's mother. Some Republicans are backing away from that. Do you think that ad was appropriate?
JD VANCE: Well, I'll be honest with you. Whether the ad was appropriate or not is not really my concern. My concern is who is gonna govern. I have to admit I'm a little bit disgusted when I see Republicans who are whining more about that ad than they are about what the Democrats want to do.
