Excited that my first 1st-author paper is officially published! We infected Daphnia with 2 microsporidian parasites and found that one was able to outcompete the other, but that the order of infection had no effect on the outcome.

A big thank you to everyone who made this work possible, @RebPendleton @SickWaterFlea and @TCDParasitology!

Just about recovered from the excitement (and jet lag) of #EEID2023 last week! Really enjoyed presenting my research, already looking forward to the next one.
Hey #EEID2023 attendees, would love to chat about my work on co-infection and temperature in Daphnia during poster session 1!

Our 5th speaker is @florianeeok presenting work on how phosphorous impacts infection rate, using daphnia as a study species.
Having a great first day at #BES2022 so far! Looking forward to seeing some of you at my presentation on the effects of temperature and phosphorus levels on Daphnia tomorrow at 9:45am in Lammermuir 2.
