Uno de los lugares más increíbles que haya visitado y en el cual di gracias a la naturaleza por recibirnos, el Salto Ángel (979 m) en la jungla Venezolana de Canaima. Esta foto la tomé en diciembre del 2010.

Bravo @HKane What an example of a great player and person.
At just 8 years old, an young Harry Kane was 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 by Arsenal after being labelled “a bit chubby” and “not very athletic.” 💔 They didn't believe he had what it took. Before becoming a superstar at Tottenham, he was sent out on 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥 loan spells: 🇬🇧 Leyton Orient — League One 🇬🇧 Millwall — Championship 🇬🇧 Norwich City — Premier League 🇬🇧 Leicester City — Championship Four loan spells. Countless setbacks. Years of being doubted. He went on to become Tottenham's 𝗔𝗟𝗟-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 leading goalscorer, England's 𝗔𝗟𝗟-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 leading goalscorer and one of the deadliest strikers in world football. ⚽ But despite all those goals, records and individual awards, one thing kept eluding him... 𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗬. 🏆 He had to wait until he was 𝟯𝟭 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗟𝗗 to finally lift the first major trophy of his career. From being rejected as an 8-year-old to becoming a champion at 31. 𝟮𝟯 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝘽𝙀𝙏𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙍𝙀𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉. He never stopped working. He never stopped believing. He 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 gave up. 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐄.

“Do not compare, do not measure, there is no other path like yours.” - Carl G. Jung Carl Jung believed that the purpose of life isn’t to become like everyone else, but to discover who you truly are. Through his concept of individuation, he emphasized that personal growth begins when you stop measuring yourself against society’s expectations and start exploring your own thoughts, values, and identity. Comparing your journey to someone else’s only distracts you from your own path. What gives one person happiness and fulfillment might mean nothing to another. When you spend your life chasing approval and trying to meet other people’s standards, you risk becoming everything the world expects while losing touch with who you really are. Jung believed that discovering your authentic self takes courage. It requires confronting uncomfortable truths, accepting the parts of yourself you’ve kept hidden, and making choices that reflect your deepest values, even when others don’t understand them. True growth isn’t about fitting into someone else’s definition of success. Everyone moves through life at a different pace, and your progress doesn’t need to resemble anyone else’s to be meaningful. You aren’t here to follow another person’s timeline or recreate their achievements. Your responsibility is to discover what makes your own existence fulfilling. Ultimately, life isn’t about becoming someone others admire or compare themselves to. It’s about becoming someone you can look at and genuinely recognize as yourself.

Dear young people, Nobody warns you how quiet ruin is. It never arrives with sirens or a sudden collapse. It shows up disguised as comfort. It arrives in the invitations you were too weak to decline, the discipline you delayed until "next Monday," and the rooms full of people who laughed with you while silently anchoring you to the floor. Remember this rule, carved into every regret I have ever witnessed: Easy choices lead to an excruciating life. Difficult choices build an untouchable life. The hard path is painful upfront. Waking up when it hurts. Holding standards when everyone around you is taking shortcuts. Choosing focus over cheap dopamine. But that pain expires—and it leaves behind freedom, clarity, and peace. The easy path gives you instant pleasure, but charges interest forever. And look closely at the hands currently shaping your future. The people around you are not neutral bystanders; they are either elevating your ceiling or normalizing your drift. If your circle makes discipline feel awkward and mediocrity feel comfortable, you do not have friends—you have an alibi. Your future isn’t an accident waiting to happen. It is the mathematical sum of what you refuse to compromise on today. Choose hard now. Or regret will choose it for you later.

For those who may not know, Delcy Rodríguez has had greater responsibility for and oversight of the torture of U.S. citizens in Venezuela than Maduro or Cilia Flores ever did.

Could not have said it better. A great athlete that could have retired with dignity.
🇵🇹 Ronaldo Has Become a Parody of Himself 📖 Narcissism: an excessive preoccupation with oneself, accompanied by a craving for admiration and an inflated sense of one's own importance. I’m not diagnosing Cristiano Ronaldo. I’m describing behaviour. And his extraordinary 1,740 word tantrum provides quite the case study. This entire saga began because a 41 year old footballer was told he might play 30 minutes for Portugal and then didn't. Jorge Jesus changed his mind during a match. Ronaldo considered this betrayal worthy of a manifesto. Then comes the truly extraordinary part. Ronaldo reveals that a document was prepared detailing what Jesus should say publicly. Among the proposed lines was an apology for warming up someone of the "stature of Pele or Diego Maradona" without bringing him on. Imagine the staggering vanity required to approve those words about yourself and then publish them believing they strengthen your case. Portugal created this monster. For years they indulged Ronaldo, massaged the ego and hoped Father Time might eventually introduce the realism nobody around him possessed the courage to provide. They waited too long. Last week I asked whether anybody in Portuguese football had the balls to tell Ronaldo his time was up. Jorge Jesus finally did. Ronaldo responded like a pampered child being told no. He left the camp, blamed others and has now produced nearly 2,000 words explaining why Cristiano Ronaldo remains the victim in the continuing tragedy of Cristiano Ronaldo. He even wants "one or more farewell matches". Naturally. Apparently even his goodbye requires a tour. An extraordinary footballer has become a deeply embarrassing spectacle. Father Time won. Ronaldo simply cannot accept the result. ✍️ P.S. Last time I dared question Ronaldo, the cult descended. So, for clarity, as a footballer and athlete he was extraordinary, one of the greatest we've ever seen. I don’t need his goal statistics from the Saudi league waved at me as proof that he somehow remains an elite footballer. My eyes have told me for years that he’s washed at the highest level. His devoted following can continue to delude themselves if they wish. His reputation cannot outrun reality forever.

Two earthquakes changed the lives of thousands of families in Venezuela in a matter of moments. And months later, the need is still very real. This is what the 100 Billion Meals Challenge is all about. Showing up when people need us most and bringing together extraordinary organizations and people who can turn compassion into real action. I’m grateful for our 100 Billion Meals partners at @AllHandsHearts, The House Project, @Alimenta_AS, @SoapboxTech, the Montaner Family Foundation, and @StellarOrg who have stepped up alongside us to help bring food, clean water, shelter, medical support, and hope to families rebuilding their lives. But the work isn’t over. Right now, our friends at Stellar Crypto Network are matching up to $100,000 in donations, which means what you give today can go twice as far. Whether it’s $5, $50, or $500, it matters. It becomes part of the food, water, shelter, and support reaching a family who needs to know they haven’t been forgotten. Let’s show the people of Venezuela that they are not alone. ❤️

This is a disgusting betrayal of the Venezuelan community and of America’s principles. A socialist torturer setting foot on American soil to meet with the President represents everything I fought against.
Llegamos a Nueva York con la firmeza y la esperanza de un pueblo que cree en el encuentro y la unión entre las naciones.

Earth is just one of about 100 billion planets in our galaxy, which is just one of about two trillion galaxies in the universe. And our lifetimes are only about 1/3,000 of humanity's existence, which itself is only 1/20,000 of the Earth's existence. In other words, we are unbelievably tiny and short-lived and no matter what we accomplish, our impact will be insignificant. At the same time, we instinctually want to matter and to evolve, and we can matter a tiny bit--and it's all those tiny bits that add up to drive the evolution of the universe. #principleoftheday
