Crystal Palace are in a particularly bleak period right now.
Understandably, with results, recruitment & performances, there is an overriding feel of despair & hopelessness for this season.
There are serious question marks over Oliver Glasner, and rightfully so, but he has all the tools to turn this ship around.
There are some pretty simple tools he can implement to start seeing real progress:
• For starters, ditch the 3 at the back setup. There is a reason very few sides in England utilise this shape.
• Glasner NEEDS to set up in a 4-4-2 OOP shape. The limp 5-4-1 is ineffective. Crystal Palace needs to become an incredibly difficult team to breakdown -

• Daichi Kamada is seriously lacking the physical levels to keep up with the Premier League. He needs to be dropped.

I'm torn internally when people take time off. Is this normal?
On the one hand, I want people to relax, enjoy time with their families and take a break. I genuinely want it.
On the other hand, it pains me so much when I know we could move faster. I don't understand how you can take time off knowing that a competitor is not.
In the end, I much prefer the latter rather than the former. I just struggle to admit it.
