One of the biggest market inefficiencies is betting on an ultra-talented big who is labeled “soft.”
That label only gets shed by winning a title (Dirk, for example), so you can get those guys at a discount like the Knicks just did with KAT.
I think the narrative pendulum with KAT has swung too far one way, even if I don’t disagree with it.
It just feels like (ironically enough given the team he’s heading to) a Porzingis-ish, unicorn revival arc is coming.
