This is why I think AI is genuinely a fantastic revolution for our world. The issue is how it is used and who uses it. AI itself isn't the problem, the man is...
ALS had taken Monica’s voice. But at her daughter’s wedding, she was able to give a speech in her own voice.
ElevenLabs recreated her voice from an old home video, and she now uses it to talk with her family. @NBCNews sat down with Monica to hear her story.
Our technology has now been used to restore the voices of more than 11,000 people who have lost their voices through injury or illness, and we’ve committed to help one million people living with voice loss around the world.

I ragazzi vogliono convergere in piazza Leonardo Da Vinci.
We are at a point where the technology we hold in our hands could lead us to a spectacularly bright future, or a spectacularly bleak one. It is up to humans to choose which one.

Another moment where democracy is put in danger, this time in France.
Ecco.

The difference between having a tool and being a tool is subtle these days and it’s easy to accidentally build yourself into being a tool. Don’t be a tool.
Here is the evidence showing that Italy is a country in decline.

Brazil Presidential Run-Off Sparks Meta Row.
Brazil’s election has become a flashpoint over social media influence, alleged foreign interference and political power.
President Lula’s campaign accused Meta of giving rival Flávio Bolsonaro greater visibility online. Meta denied political bias, while Brazil’s electoral court has ordered equal treatment for both campaigns. UN-appointed human rights experts have also raised concerns about restrictions on political content.
With both candidates challenging each other and US involvement under scrutiny, the dispute is adding another dimension to Brazil’s October 25 vote.
Watch the full video to explore the allegations, the responses and what is at stake in Brazil’s election.

The era we are living through, and the recent episode regarding my tweet about the pressures on Indian democracy at the moment, have made me think.
They have made me think that it is time to broaden my horizons and interpret my role differently: by starting to tweet in English, and focusing this account also on artificial intelligence, the fight for energy supremacy, and the new international sociopolitical configurations.
Because we need a clear-eyed, ethical perspective that strives to preserve humanity and the human element during a time when we are witnessing dystopian changes and the erosion of institutions and societies across the planet.
The image you see below is from my son's school in Milan, and I think it says a great deal more than a lot of words. Violence is violence and anarchy is anarchy, but healthy, peaceful protest right now is more than legitimate.
-----
India is also going through a difficult period of danger and the erosion of democracy. My colleague and friend illustrates this very well here, recounting heavy electoral interference during the election process in one of the southern Indian states. This is completely unacceptable, and I stand with him and everyone facing these intimidations.
India, the world’s largest democracy, is facing an uncomfortable question about the conduct of its ruling political establishment.
In the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which governs the state, is using force to stop candidates of its political opposition, the #YSR Congress Party, from contesting municipal elections. #TDP leaders and cadres have snatched and torn opposition nomination papers, preventing candidates from entering the electoral contest.
The Supreme Court of India has intervened, and the state election authority has halted the election process across 100 urban local bodies.
The national dimension matters: TDP is a key partner in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government in New Delhi.
India’s democratic credibility cannot rest on the size of its electorate alone. It must also rest on whether opposition candidates are free to contest elections without intimidation, even when those responsible belong to a party allied with the national government.
Democracy begins with the right to contest, it is important that India preserves this right.
