USM is either genius or braindead for going all in on baseball while having a football program that rivals our 2013-2015 stint

Who wants the Southern Miss job that has the “Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere” mindset?
I’d be willing to put serious cash back into the program (and of course in person support) for whoever embraced this unashamed
Anyone besides McClain sucking the soul out of Southern Miss

Southern Miss just has to continue to find people who look like them to play. Next year, maybe there is room to schedule Jackson Prep.
And no, this is not attacking the players. This is past a player problem. I don’t see how people who still donate to the NIL continue to do so.

I just have no idea what you do if you’re a Southern Miss fan.
There’s no urgency from the athletic department to be relevant in any sport except baseball.
Why should I care and give you money when no one is being held accountable for the terrible product year after year?
Holy shit our Athletic Department is fucking brain dead
Fire everyone and start over

I’m so tired of watching athletic programs like Troy, ULL, and South Alabama run laps around ours with the same pool of resources and even LESS fan support than we have.
When are we going to stop making excuses and start taking a look in the mirror?
Southern Miss & Hattiesburg has a widespread problem of bad hiring practices and unrealistic attitudes in a world of NIL deals / leverage of excellence
Southern Miss at least still has past excellence to leverage and revive once again, but we have to fire our AD first

Positives:
Lyddy ran the offense very well IMO
Sanders is a play maker
Saunders is a dog
Negatives:
Can’t tackle
Gave up 437 dang yards on the ground
@scottwatkinsTU any way to get on PFF and see what the total yards after contact for Troy was?
