I make stuff. I watch stuff. Sometimes I think out loud. Easily distracted. Occasionally wandering into TMI land. Mostly just shouting into the void.

This feels like the days of 'good' Twitter, where we are all unified and sharing opinions and there's no fighting and nastiness - just a collective of different people enjoying some bloody good music together. More of this, please. #hottest100ofaustraliansongs #Hottest100

There are many ways to lose someone and death is the kindest.

Just realised that from today (July 2) it’s now closer to the year 2050 then it is to 2000.

"the birds in the war zone make nests from the fiber optic cables left by the killer drones" is the kind of thing you'd expect as a throwaway line of background in a cyberpunk story, and yet
Fiber drones are literally changing the landscape in Ukraine, and brining a new level of threat -- my take for Forbes in comments below

It's because warmth is only good when it's also comforting. Warmth without comfort is actually pretty annoying. 😆

there should be a single button in the settings of your web browser that says “hide all AI” so that you could peruse twitter or pinterest or google images without having to worry about encountering AI.

Don't let the world change you. Instead, stay a daydreamer. Stay wild. Stay wonderful. Stay gloriously childlike. Be cheeky! Be whimsical! Be peculiar! This is the best way to not be boring.

The line between wanting to live and wanting to disappear is thinner than people think. Sometimes all it takes is one small thing to tip you back into wanting to stay —a random moment of beauty, a kind word, a laugh. Life doesn’t need to be perfect to be worth it. You just need something to hold on to, even for a second. That’s why it matters to go outside, to notice things, to let the world remind you that it’s still here. And you are too.

Is there a way I can switch AI off on absolutely everything? Browsers, phones, whatever, all of it. It's hard enough to get to the truth with most powerful humans constantly spinning shit, I don't also need robots collating all the nonsense and making up their own variety on top.

You know what makes life especially rich? Those tiny moments of connection with people we see in the regularness of our day The kind person at the grocers, the girl at the cafe who smiles when she sees you The being among supportive humans It's such a balm I hope I'm one of them
