New on fryguy.net: the OS Upgrade Path Finder. Tell it where you are and where you want to land, and it works out the upgrade hops. Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, plus Fortinet/Arista links. Our best understanding, so always check with TAC 🙂

New tool: paste raw traceroute/tracert/ping output, get an instant visual hop chain or latency chart — timeouts, latency jumps, and dropped packets flagged automatically. All in your browser, nothing uploaded.

New tool: SecureCRT → SuperPutty session converter. Drop in your SecureCRT XML export, get a ready-to-import SuperPutty Sessions.xml back instantly — all in your browser, nothing uploaded.

New tool: VLAN/QinQ Tag Overhead Calculator. Cisco/Juniper default QinQ's outer tag to 0x8100, FortiGate defaults to 0x88a8 — mismatched, a trunk silently corrupts traffic. Check vendor interop first.

Most protect-RE filters get copy-pasted once and never updated, so neighbor lists drift out of sync.
Built a Junos lo0 filter generator where BGP/NTP/RADIUS/SNMP allow-lists pull live from the real config via apply-path. Nothing to maintain twice.

MTU breakage is silent — packets stop working somewhere in the path with no indication where.
Built a tool that probes every hop to find the exact size and router where fragmentation kicks in. Python/bash/PowerShell/Go, same behavior everywhere.

Incredibly heartbreaking. Just found out in the middle of a work meeting and tearing up. He was an amazing human being who went out of his way to teach people and was just a genuinely good human dignitymemorial.com/obituari…
That was wild - 4.8. Really weird for the East Coast to experience that!

Suggestion for @ElectrifyAm …. Please install chargers at the Airport Road shopping plaza off Rte 22. Would love to be able to charge and shop here. Plus it’s near Rte 33/78/22
Well, charger down at @ElectrifyAm Tilghman Street; Allentown location. Charger #1. @RateYourCharge
We need more stations in the Lehigh valley. Only a single 4-charger station for this metro is sad.
In loving memory of Captain Kori, a remarkable child who touched our hearts with his strength and determination. He was a beacon of resilience, embodying the spirit of a true hero. We rallied around him, helping to make his dream a reality.
Rest in peace, dear #CaptainKori

Johnny Depp pays tribute to Captain Kori and made me cry again... Do as Captain Jack say and support Kori's Family's GoFundMe to keep the total going, and give Kori the proper Pirates Farewell that he deserves. Love you all. gofund.me/2ce1b52e
