I always manually colour pick as otherwise a blue might look more pink or grey because of the type of colouring style I use, but I totally understand the frustration.

@fsonic3 The sa2 ita bag finally arrived and immediately already transferred all my pins from my mtg backpack onto here! While it doesn't hold all my decks it still fits 4 of them along with my counter and token boxes! Very glad to get my first ita bag!

to be that artist u MUST draw for yourself and be obsessed!! i cannot stress that enough!!!!! likes dont matter!! it’s an intrinsic thing for me— how people talk about gaming is how i feel about art. like i literally have to tear myself away from drawing😭 +

some artists out there genuinely draw 24/7 and post every 1-3 days and i actually just cannot fathom that I Want To Be That Artist .

I have been doing comms for over 13 years now, I have experienced clients tell me they want me to have artistic freedom only to completely backup on that after the sketch and request me to follow the ref more.
🔞CuCubird - COMMISSION close@LaCucuUn_CacaOct 18
I think more artists, when taking commissions, should know not to draw the exact 1:1 to the client-given references of another artist's drawing, change the angle, the line of movement, or something to be at least a bit distinct from the ref cause this literally happens every time

Most clients I get usually hand me a perspective and pose ref separately which if you want a particular pose this is the best way to go about communicating that to a artist.

Obviously if you want the artist to have more freedom with the posing pls communicate that, we really do have all kinds of clients so we have to account for everyone and have a baseline professional approach.
