Now that Halloween is over and I'm no longer obligated to watch horror movies, I can put something really scary... A documentary about Indian land rights.
(loud shriek and maniacal cackling as lightning strikes)
INCIDENT AT RESTIGOUCHE, BABY!!!!!

It's funny that in the very first Spider-Man story Stan Lee refers to superheroes as "long underwear characters." It's a ubiquitous joke, but there's something unexpected about seeing it being made in official capestuff.
I used to have this movie and have no idea what happened to it. Maybe my mom or me purged it at some point. Darn shame because I see it for high prices online with $300 being the highest. That's an insane price for a movie that might not be good, but this cover kicks ass!
I actually never did sit down and watch it even when I was really going through an old school horror junky phase in high school. It's on Tubi, though, under the title Garden Of the Dead. It turns out it's part of the Troma catalog.

i still think damiani’s amityville ii: the possession (1982) is one of the greatest horror movies ever; the seemingly respectable all-american family rotting from within… it goes into really dark territory and has insane body horror and camerawork… it’s just absolutely insane

The original artwork for the cover of Tomb of Terror #15, Harvey Comics. Drawn in 1954 by Lee Elias. A pre-code masterpiece, showing a head being blown apart.

I hate the term “ratfucked” in politics. It takes something beautiful that happens between two or more rats and makes it disgusting
This is that Great Pumpkin that Linus tries to conjure up since it's the only thing powerful enough to destroy his evil sister.
It's strange that Wes Craven and Sean S. Cunningham (former partners) made similar movies both released in the same year, Shocker and House III: The Horror Show.
