you should feel good about having a body, and indulge in the needs of it happily, rather than resenting it (for its needs or imperfections). There are times, ofc, when you'll need to override the needs for something greater, but even that shouldn't come with a punitive mindset

I love being able to enjoy good food & wine, a hot bath, a warm breeze on my face, the smell of spring, the feeling of someone playing with my hair, the chill of winter on my cheeks, the hot sand between my toes…there is so much to enjoy about having a body
I think Martians work out to purge aggression and participate in competition and it has very little to do with health/wellness
Personally as a Martian I don’t even like running or lifting bc there’s no “point” to it, I much prefer competitive sports.
