Four years ago, a Louisville Metro Police officer fired pepper balls at a @wave3news crew broadcasting live on air. That night, LMPD said the incident would be investigated. Four years later, that investigation is still open. My latest: courier-journal.com/story/ne…

As tomorrow’s #MetGala approaches, I would like to remind everyone that while the part you may be most familiar with is the red carpet event, the *actual* department the Met Gala funds is the unglamorous thing you don’t think about the other 364 days/year…the Costume Institute.

An important turning point in your fashion journey is realizing you can love fashion deeply and yet spend most of your time dressed like you’ve just run to the store to buy a dozen eggs.

Louisville's public safety committee just passed an ordinance to ban the sale of dogs and cats in pet stores and at outdoor venues like flea markets. It moves to Metro Council for a full vote as soon as next week. These bans have gained US traction over puppy mill concerns.

In 2020, then-Mayor Greg Fischer said SummerWorks “helps level the playing field for young people who are growing up in poverty or who lack the family connections that can be so important in landing that first job.”
Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg's administration presented SummerWorks as a program that prioritized disadvantaged youth in its job matching process. Two mayor's office interns hired through SummerWorks have close Greenberg ties. My latest: courier-journal.com/story/ne…
