Hot take, we don't need better graphics than this. The push for realism has just resulted in the actual gameplay stagnating.
I would trade "photorealistic" graphics for this any day and put all of the resources into huge 1000+ player lobbies with insane physics, destruction and levolution events.

I've noticed exactly the same thing with my own posts. There's clearly an element of algorithmic suppression going on here - though whether it's deliberately targeted on a particular topic or an accidental result of recent changes isn't clear.

My Threads account, which has 25,000 followers, currently gets more reach than my account here on X.

My DOS renderer now supports simple shading with ordered dithering. Got a bit burned out on Vulkan, so I’ve been relaxing with some DOS-era graphics 😅
