This is an area of professional traders, just because the barrier to entry has been set low doesn't mean that the stand operating procedures regarding trading has also been set low
Just because you can fund with $100 doesn't mean the market will accommodate your pockets and accommodate you as you have less than JPMorgan, the market will operate how it operated since the beginning, meaning we are competing with people who place transaction of above a million dollars daily and they don't place trades based on Guess work, research and study, factoring skill in in play here
So, the splitting of order or breaking big orders into smaller portion is to conceal their intentions
Unlike Forex trading, when it comes to stocks, that's where things such as commitment of traders come into play also does show how many units have been bought
So, if JPMorgan just straight place $50 Million buy positions on for example Nasdaq, that puts them at risk of having others go against them, and end up losing trades, so best to split that $50 Million into fragments of positions, that's where we get to see the volume being affected
That's why volume cannot be regarded as something that shows participants coming into the market
Algorithmic trading can place 1000 positions in a second and liquidate them as quickly
But volume will still reflect as if there has been an increase of willing participants
So, you can't rely on volume as an indication of direction nor as a confirmation for execution
