Chatsworth Road bus gate is supposed to reduce traffic and improve air quality. In reality, it pushes traffic onto Powerscroft Road. I’m now driving further, spending longer on the road & producing more emissions. How does moving congestion elsewhere improve air quality overall?

An hour to get from my house near Chatsworth Road on to the A12. I still can’t see how a bus gate on Chatsworth Road is better for air quality in Hackney when I’m in traffic for longer, driving further and creating more emissions. #hackney #makeitmakesense

Public transport is a sensory nightmare: buses not arriving, speakerphone conversations everyone can hear, music, heat, strong smells. It takes energy to block it out, leaving me exhausted before work. Yet I’m also being pushed away from using my car. #Autism #Accessibility
7 hours on public transport from London to Malvern today. It’s taken more hours than expected, but I can’t fault the service of the train and station staff. Almost at my destination, and just glad to be making plans for dinner with the LDP cohort.
Secondary school catchment area make no sense.The distance from home to school is measured in a straight line, so our daughter is in catchment for a school that’s further away & takes longer to travel to, while she’s out of catchment for the closer school. It makes no sense.
