So... Quick heads up on the contest:
Your take actually needs to be written by you.
The irony of using AI to write a response to a post calling out low effort AI clutter is insane 😭
If your quote tweet reads like an AI prompt output, it’s not going to qualify for the 0.05 ETH buy even if it gets top likes.
If you already quote reposted using AI (be honest, though some are clearly AI lol), go ahead and delete it and redo it in your own words. Keep it real and write your actual thoughts! Doesnt have to be long either.
Deadline is Friday the 30th.
"Imagine thinking someone's art is so bad that it ruined your chances to be successful." - A defender of 40 cent AI spam
So, some of you noticed, someone dropped this in my replies the other day and completely missed the point.
I'm not trying to compete with anyone. I'm just a collector who's been buying NFTs for years. The high volume, 40 cent AI spam and self bidding loops didn't ruin my chances of anything. It ruined the browsing feed for multiple collectors who bought art for what it meant to them, buried really cool creators who put actual effort into their work, and drained platform utility until places like Foundation couldn't survive. When discovery breaks, real buyers stop logging in.
Now, I want to hear how other people view this quote.
So, here is a challange for you all.
Quote tweet this with your own take on it. In 72 hours, whichever quote tweet gets the most engagement, (Ill comment on yours) You can mint a screenshot of your post and I'll buy it for 0.05 ETH.
I want to actually talk with you all about platform curation, real collector experience, and what keeps on chain art alive in the web3 space.
Also, a huge shoutout to amazing creators like @emptysoulprime, @ladan_ashaseh, @owlcean11, @MoonaLuna_eth, @arty_toma, and @PaulinaRez_ who got burried under the noise at times and were in my replies last year calling out the exact same 40 cent feed clutter. It was always about protecting the ecosystem for the people building real value.

Never did I think we’d see the day when a collector called out weird power structures and cult behaving communities
Morning nerds
It’s basic platform economics. When a feed gets flooded with thousands of low effort AI renders listed for pennies, two things happen:
Collectors leave: Finding actual, intentional artwork becomes like searching for a needle in a haystack. When the front page is constant noise, collectors like me stop browsing and stop spending ETH there.
Platform revenue collapses: Foundation operated on a percentage fee per sale. When the bulk of transactions shift from high value, quality art sales to thousands of 40 cent mints, the platform makes fractions of a penny per trade. That doesn't cover server costs, storage, or engineering teams.
Were you the single sole reason? No. But high volume spam accounts, (including yours being probably the biggest) doing penny self bids created a toxic feedback loop that buried real artists, drove serious collectors away, and drained the platform’s primary revenue stream until running it became unsustainable.
Okay, so I'm not going to lie here.
You flooded Foundation with hundreds of borderline NSFW AI renders, bid on your own auctions for pennies, buried human artists, and helped tank the platform's revenue model until it eventually shut down.
I looked at your profile, and it's literally the exact same feed spam on Transient Labs. You're doing the exact thing people are trying to get away from.

I'm on the hunt for some new art to collect 🌟
Artists, drop an NFT below that's still looking for its first collector. I wanna see the pieces that haven't found a home yet.
Don't forget to follow + repost for consideration :) Let's see what you've got. 😎
Friendly reminder from a collector: I’m not a wallet. I’m a human being who happens to own one.
Like most collectors, I have a job, bills, responsibilities, and a life outside of NFTs. When I collect a piece, it’s because the art genuinely means something to me.
Treat collectors like people, not wallets. The art and the connection are what make us want to collect. ❤️
Happy birthday to this incredible artist!
GOOD MORNING ☀️
Today is my birthday, I’m 25 today 🥳 I’m pretty sure this year will be tough for me, but I believe I’ll handle everything because I have so many wonderful friends, like you who are reading this post. In my country, tradition says the birthday person should treat their friends, but since we are all online, I can’t hand you a slice of cake.
However, if you follow me, you probably like my thoughts and my art, so for my birthday, I’ve prepared several pieces for you. I hope looking at them makes you feel something good, even though the artworks have depressing colors.
Have a glass of champagne and eat a slice of cake to my health! 🍰 🥂

Heavily agree with this. What we want vs what we seek vs what we get.
Collectors like me understand that we collect art for what it means to us. But most of the shills we get, said artists could care less about us as the collector. They just want to sell the work and forget the buyer. Thats why post like these get little to no attention and the I bought/im buying get the most.
You want: collectors with taste who are here for the art and collect what they genuinely love.
You praise: the first person who larps as a collector and waves money around.
You want: to find your people and build an honest, supportive community and real friendships.
You seek: the attention of every new or big account with influence, even when they might forget your name tomorrow.
You want: a healthier art ecosystem.
Yet collectively, we often reward the exact behavior that makes it less healthy.
Of course, do whatever feels right for you. But be aware of the incentives we all help create.
Pay attention to what you publicly celebrate. Is it what you genuinely value, or simply whoever seems most useful to you in that moment?
And believe me, spending all your energy trying to get the attention of people who don’t really care about you benefits you far less than you think.
This isn’t only on artists, either. Collectors, platforms, big accounts, curators, all of us help decide what gets amplified and what kind of behavior becomes desirable.
Some people jump wherever the money or attention is, then wonder why authenticity, loyalty, and long-term support feel so rare.
We can’t ask for a culture built on genuine connection while constantly rewarding whoever makes the most noise with their wallet or influence.
Spend more of your energy on the people you actually want around you day after day.
That’s how the healthier ecosystem you’re asking for gets built.
