U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Sterling Sadler Woods selflessly sacrificed his life in the service of our country on May 10, 1967 in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. For his extraordinary heroism & bravery that day, Sterling was awarded the Silver Star. He was 21 years old. Hero.🇺🇸
