18.10.25 - 1 year ago I was lucky enough to see Scots legend Clare Grogan performing at @thegladcafe
That was after being put under a spell watching @ABCQuinn with @gates_light 😌 ✨
I hear similarities in Don't Talk To Me About Love's synth n Gates of Light's Advance ☺️ ❤️ xx

Louise was mesmerising - her dreamy vocals, left me spellbound. Marilyn Monroe-esque in parts too 😌 ✨ 💞💞💞

Friday Night Find ✨
Family speculation has it that the poet T. E. Hulme may be my great-grandfather 👀
My great-grandmother, Annie Eleanor Pounder, was a nurse caring at the Hulme family home. The dates and location line up with the conception of my grandmother, Doris Allan ✨

FRIDAY NIGHT FIND ✨
Well this really IS a find… and it’s my birthday! 🥳
Hardbody supporting James at Middlesbrough Town Hall in 1997 - and I’ve just found the review. Apparently we had a ‘big, big sound’, I was a strikingly beautiful singer’ with a strikingly odd haircut’

Musicality and creativity are natural propensities to all imho ... I think having role models is everything too, so we don't have to reinvent any wheel in our own minds in order to imagine if we can have that wheel if you know what I mean & we can see what is already possible .. & we are born with a heartbeat ... like we heard drums before we knew who we are ... :)
