BREAKING: The US has just issued new security alerts for Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Lebanon, warning all Americans of sudden escalation in the Middle East causing severe flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions.
The alert also warns of an "increased threat of armed attacks by Iran targeting US government officials in the region."
The alerts come after a US fighter jet strike on an Iranian missile launcher on Qeshm Island a short while ago, and Iran's issuance of Code 100, its highest level of alert, for all armed forces.

Colom: "Our junior senator, she needs to do the right thing. If she thinks that she has a path to victory, she needs to get in front of a television, get in front of the voters that she still represents, and explain how she has a path to victory. Now, she won't do that because she can't win, and it's time to look out for the voters."

George W. LOST the popular vote

When beautiful 10-year old Maite Rodriguez was murdered at her school in Uvalde they were only able to identify her body by her green converse shoes.
Someone gave Lauren Boebert a memorial pin of those shoes and she threw it right in the trash.
Now the voters trashed her.

TWO PRESIDENTS, TWO VERY DIFFERENT MOMENTS WITH AMERICAN WAR HEROES 🇺🇦🇺🇸🇫🇷
When Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Melvin Hurwitz, an American World War II veteran, the elderly soldier reached for his hand and attempted to kiss it. Zelenskyy gently pulled his hand away, lowered himself to the veteran’s level and embraced him instead.
What followed was a deeply moving exchange.
Veteran: “You’re the savior of the people!”
Zelenskyy: “No, no, no. You saved Europe.”
Veteran: “You bring tears to my eyes. You are my hero.”
Zelenskyy: “No, no, you are our hero.”
Veteran: “I pray for you.”
The encounter offers a contrast with controversies surrounding Donald Trump’s remarks and treatment of American military service members.
During a 2018 visit to France marking the centenary of the end of World War I, Trump cancelled a planned visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, where 2,289 American military personnel are buried. According to accounts published by The Atlantic, Trump privately questioned why he should visit a cemetery filled with “losers” and referred to fallen Marines at Belleau Wood as “suckers.” Trump has denied making those remarks.
The soldiers who died at Belleau Wood were fighting Germany in World War I, not the Nazi regime of World War II.
In 2024, Trump also attracted criticism for comparing the Presidential Medal of Freedom with the Medal of Honor. He called the civilian decoration “much better” while noting that Medal of Honor recipients are often severely wounded or awarded the distinction posthumously.
In 2025, Trump was criticised for playing golf in Florida rather than attending a dignified transfer ceremony for four fallen American service members, although presidential attendance at such ceremonies is not mandatory.
Zelenskyy’s exchange with Hurwitz was a simple moment of mutual respect between two men from different generations, both shaped by wars in Europe.
Neither wanted to be called a hero. Each insisted that the other deserved the honour.

Rahm Emanuel is thinking about 2028—and he's doing his homework.
“If you're thinking about being in the Oval Office, it's only 200 feet from the Situation Room. You better have an idea of what you're going to do around the world.”
Former Chicago Mayor @RahmEmanuel tells @MargaretHoover why he's traveling the country, outlining foreign policy—and preparing to unveil his economic vision later this month.
When pressed on his presidential ambitions, he jokes: “Well, right now I'm not thinking about it at all in front of you, but when I get off this, I'll tell you that.”
The Pope in Uruguay: “Education must also provide concrete opportunities for entering the workforce, putting the fruits of one’s learning into practice, and achieving personal autonomy by one’s own efforts. Work is thus one of the structures that enables each person to develop his or her abilities and to contribute to the good of others.”

Whoa! Arizona Democrats secured a historic government trifecta following the midterm elections.
Democrats won control of the House and Senate, while retaining the governor's office. This marks the first time the party has held complete control of the state government in 60 years.
Dear @WhiteHouse: trump’s name will never be on the Kennedy Center or the Reflecting Pool.
The trump arch will not be built.
And in two years, Congress and the next Administration will erase trump’s name and stench from everything he has touched.
