How did buying something with Naira card and withdrawing dollars thereafter work?
The thing with corruption in Nigeria is there are so many rackets in different sectors that, you may never know until someone in that sectors tells you about it.

I'm the kind of guy who will go to Opay and chdck the name and come back and call her than name and continue the conversation. I'm good at pretending I don't know what you're insinuating until you say it by yourself with your two lips.
i hate this lobby so much 🥀

The logic holds up but the Thursday that she didn't count, did she come to work that Thursday? If she didn't, then that's Day 1😅
Replying to @kufrekoffi
Exactly. If the company only pays you for working days, then leave should work the same way. Weekends aren’t days she was expected to work, so they shouldn’t eat into her leave balance. The logic holds up.

she was facing 7 years in juvie until they discovered the school pushed students to take adhd meds and her journal showed signs of sleep-deprivation psychosis. instead, they hinted she’d get help for her drug dependence.

Might be useful to someone so quote tweeting 1. The original payment to the slave holders was something like £20m made up of £15m paid by a bond and £5m in government stocks. The most important point about the bond was that it did NOT have to be repaid. Govt could be paying interest on it forever or until whenever it decided to repay the £15m principal. The slave holders got their cash and by 1844 practically all of them had sold the stocks and moved on. 2. Because the U.K. govt issues a lot of gilts, they regularly have to do housecleaning exercises to tidy up the gilt book. In 1927, they did one where that bond for slave holders (whatever was left of it) was consolidated with several other bonds including ones that were used to fund wars with Napoleon. This single consolidated bond paid 4% and again - IT DID NOT NEED TO BE REPAID. You could collect the 4% coupon in theory forever until the govt decided to redeem the principal. 3. In 2015 there was another housecleaning exercise and this time, because interest rates were lower than 4% (the good old days), the govt decided to pay off those forever bonds where it was paying 4%. This simple logical financing decision to save some coins is what gave birth to this meme that “UK taxpayers were still paying for slavery until 2015”. Assuming the whole £15m was even still outstanding, imagine saying the U.K. govt which spent almost £800bn in 2015 waited until 2015 to pay £15m, something that amounts to around 10mins of govt spending. The entire story is down to the type of bond that was issued and the fact that they did not need to be repaid. That’s it

Vanilla Ice had the No. 1 album in America, 7 million copies sold. Then he opened his hotel room door and found Suge Knight inside with five men. All armed. All smiling. In the video below, he tells the story himself. He had two bodyguards with him. The men said they were huge fans. They wanted pictures for their daughters. He posed. Everything was cool, he says. Then Suge asked to talk to him on the balcony. Alone. His bodyguard stood up. Vanilla says one of the men slapped him so hard he cried, and took his gun. Thirty minutes later, they brought in Chocolate, the man who claimed he helped write the song. Vanilla says his eye was black and his lip was swollen. "Ice Ice Baby" was the first rap song ever to top the Billboard Hot 100. Everyone wanted a piece of it. Forget the famous version where Suge dangled him over the railing by his ankles. Vanilla says that never happened. What Suge actually told him out on that balcony is the part he says everyone gets wrong.

You might need to learn it. Moderation is the spice of life. Everything relies on moderation and too much intensity ruins good things just as much as nonchalance.
I don’t think I know how to feel things in moderation. It’s either I’m completely detached or way too invested, there’s rarely an in-between.

It's not the flex you think it is. Moderation and Control are very important elements of life.

The fact that he had and kept a mental picture of the triangle & what he wanted to stack in it is very impressive. A bit of greed took over towards the end Sha, but that is understandable for a Nigerian: sometimes poverty can manifest not just as lack of money, but as greed. 😃

Keep an open mind and don't overthink anything.
Is this a communication issue or are we simply not on the same page?
