This type of stuff only happens in America. That is why America is the fucking shit. I don’t care what anyone else says. I’m proud to be an American. 🇺🇸
My wife has taught high school in Tokyo for twenty years.
Every year, a few of her students spend a year living with a family in America. When they come home, she asks each of them one question.
"What do you miss?"
She expects hamburgers.
She almost never gets hamburgers.
And these aren't old stories. Most of these kids came home in the last two years.
"Every time I left the house, my host mom said, 'Text me when you get there.' In Japan, nobody needs to know where I am. In Ohio, somebody always did." (Mina, 17, Ohio)
"If you walk toward a door, an American will hold it open. Even if you are very far away. So you have to run. I ran to so many doors." (Itsuki, 16, Georgia)
"My host brother screamed on the floor of a grocery store. A stranger walked by and said to my host mom, 'You're doing great, Mama.' She almost cried. I didn't know strangers were allowed to say that." (Aoi, 17, Texas)
"We went away for the weekend and left our trash can at the curb. When we got back, it was by the garage. Nobody said who. My host dad said if it had been there one more day, the neighbor would have knocked." (Haruto, 16, Minnesota)
"A car got stuck in the snow in front of our house. Four men came out of four houses. Nobody called them. They pushed, the car drove away, and they went back inside without saying their names." (Ren, 17, Michigan)
"Every American has jumper cables. Maybe half of them know which clip goes where. The other half help anyway." (Shin, 16, Montana)
"In July, my host family put a cooler on the porch. Cold water, snacks, and a sign: 'For our delivery drivers. Thank you!' I asked if they knew the drivers. They said no." (Nanami, 16, Arizona)
"Downtown, there are banners on the lampposts. Photos of soldiers from the town. Some old, some very young. My host grandpa walked me down the street and told me every name." (Yuna, 16, Iowa)
"I got a C-plus on my first test. My host dad said, 'I'm proud of you,' and put it on the fridge. In Japan, nobody is proud of a C-plus." (Takeru, 17, Pennsylvania)
Then the quietest girl in the class raised her hand.
Sora. Seventeen. Missouri.
"Nobody asks me 'home safe?' anymore," she said.
She was wrong.
In September, there was a typhoon warning for Tokyo. At 2 a.m., Sora's phone lit up.
It was her host mom. In Missouri. Watching the weather in a country she had never been to.
"Saw the storm. You home safe?"
Sora told my wife she cried for a long time. Then she typed the answer she had typed a hundred times, from football games and friends' driveways.
"Home safe."
Her host mom wrote back one line.
"Good. That's all I needed."
My wife has asked that question for twenty years. Not one kid has ever said they missed how big America is.
They miss how America says goodbye. And how it checks that you got home.
So, America. You think you've lost something.
You haven't. It's on a porch in Arizona. It's pushing a car in Michigan. It's awake at 2 a.m. in Missouri, watching our weather.
You don't remember doing any of it.
A kid in Tokyo will never forget.

I am in awe of the support you've shown to my friend, Efrain. Even if all you could spare was a prayer or a positive vibe, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I love you all. Remember to hug your kids extra tight tonight.

Work 60+ hours a week. Pay tons in taxes. Have an IQ of 100+. Positively contribute to society. Raise good kids who will do the same.
Your vote counts the same as someone who is the complete opposite, and is a net negative to society.
Your society cannot survive like that.

I've never asked you for anything, but tonight I am making an exception
If you've ever found any value in the work I've shared, please consider making a small donation to my dear friend whose family just suffered a tragic house fire last night
I'm not sure he is going to make it, but he has a wife and 2 young girls who could use all the love and support they can get right now
Your prayers, positive vibes, and supportive thoughts mean the world to me. Even $1 towards him goes a long way
Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Suspend disbelief for a second.
Pretend my deceased ancestors come back. And I was able to *explain face-to-face to my WWII and Korean Conflict veteran grandfathers, my Vietnam veteran father, and my great (x3) grandfather who fought for the Union at Gettysburg in 1863 with the NYS Militia, that an elected congresswoman in New York City authored a post smirking about wiping her dirtied hand on the American flag, was elected to Congress in 2026, and on election night, wrapped herself in a “keffiyah” (not the flag of her own country), and this was somehow “normal” and barely newsworthy …
People somehow voted for her.
This is our America now. 😢😢😢

An Oregonian’s warning for Texas.
Texans, we’ve had one-party Democratic control for decades and here’s what it looks like:
• Measure 110 made hard drugs basically legal. Overdoses and camps took over the streets.
• Portland defunded police and stopped prosecuting. Homicides and car thefts shot up after 2020.
• We spend a ton on schools and still rank near the bottom on reading and math. Kids aren’t even showing up for class.
• Strict land-use rules and zoning killed housing supply. Rents and home prices are out of control.
• High income taxes plus a new Corporate Activity Tax made the business climate terrible. People and jobs keep leaving.
• More people are moving out than moving in. They’re done with the costs, crime, and quality of life.
• Forest management got shut down. Now the wildfires are bigger and more destructive.
• Downtown Portland is still half-empty with open air drug use years later.
• Utility bills have jumped. PGE rates up around 50-60% in recent years from renewables mandates, grid costs, and other policies.
• Boys are allowed in girls sports stealing opportunities and sports titles from our daughters.
The list goes on.
Don’t let Democrats take over and destroy Texas too. You will lose your voice, and before you can get it back, they will rig the maps and gerrymander to keep you silent for good. Stop them before it’s too late.
With love,
A conservative Oregonian
Riley Trettel (Energy & Data Center Development at SpaceX) in yesterdays Cochise Data Center meeting.
He claims the project will deliver up to:
- 40% off residential power bills for Sulphur Springs members, for the life of the project
- $53 million a year to the SSVEC Foundation, for education and the community
- $190 million a year in extra capital for Sulphur Springs, for projects or back to members
- $200 million a year for AEPCO and its members. About $100 million of that for Sulphur Springs
- $3.6 billion in new power lines, paid by SpaceX and given to the co-op. The co-op takes on no debt
- $30 to $100 million a year in new property tax, and a 20% cut in everyone else's county property taxes
- $250 million, one time, in sales tax. He said it could pay off the jail bond and fund the sheriff, fire districts, and the hospital
- $50 billion invested in the project
- 1,000 permanent jobs and 5,000 construction jobs
- No industrial water. Water for staff and maintenance about equal to 20–30 homes a year
- No gas turbines and no power plant on the site. The computers buy power from the co-op grid
- Dark-sky lighting, pointed at the ground
- Cooling equipment more than 1,500 feet from any neighboring property line or public road
This project is clearly extremely positive for the area.

For everyone who remembers picking up their first Soldier of Fortune, we salute the man who started it all and brought us along for the adventure. Remembering our founder, Robert K. Brown, 1932–2026.

I had an experience last night that I think perfectly sums up our political moment…
I play basketball a couple times a week with a group of about 30 guys. I try really hard not to talk politics there…ball is life and my true escape…but one way or another it always comes up for a few minutes.
Last night though, to no surprise, everyone was talking about the election results. Pretty much all the guys I play with are conservatives or Republicans, or just people who love America and end up voting Republican. Basically just normal people.
There’s one liberal in the group. He was saying he hates how extreme both parties have become, but that Republicans are even worse, and we need more moderate, centrist options.
As we were warming up, I asked him: “Okay, what’s Donald Trump’s most extreme position?”
He paused and started talking about Trump’s attitude and tweets. I said, “No, what’s his most extreme *policy*?”
He said, “I’d have to get back to you,” and started walking away.
I kept poking at him a bit while we played. (Nothing like hardcore political trash talk, right?) And he didn’t have much to say. We set it aside and the friendship will live to see another day.
But the point is this: Trump, despite what they say, is actually a moderate. He’s a former Democrat, old-school liberal who governs sensibly, thus conservatively. He would have (and still would) negotiate with Democrats on almost anything. But all the Democrats want to do is destroy (and eventually jail) him.
If you think closing the border is extreme, fine. If you don’t like how ICE operates, say that. But picking up people who are here illegally isn’t extreme. You can dislike the methods without calling the basic idea far-right or racist.
I’ve seen this over and over: you ask people what Trump has actually done that’s extreme, far-right, or racist, and they usually can’t answer. They just scurry away.
The bigger issue now , especially after the results of midterms, is what comes *after* Trump on the right. A lot of people will say, “We tried it with the New York real estate guy who wanted to be liked and was willing to make a deal. It didn’t work. So now we go harder.”
Then we could end up with an actual extremist, and even the TDS inflicted liberals will be looking back on the Trump years as the good old days.
So if you know a confused liberal, this might be a good time to ask them to look in the mirror before it’s too late.
Pro Tip: They probably won’t listen to you, but then just hit a couple threes in their face and it’ll still be time well spent.

I’m going to be brutally honest about where I stand, and I understand this is just me and not how you win elections:
Gas could be $10 per gallon and Trump could break 80% of his campaign promises—I’d still vote straight-ticket Republican for the sole purpose of combatting open borders. Mass migration has been catastrophic for the West.

I am going to sell my construction business in the next 2 years and check the fuck out of Nashville and move to the East Tennessee hills with about 300 acres and a beautiful home right smack dab in the middle.
I cannot subject my family to the bullshit that is coming. My entire family made the decision tonight during dinner. The plan is now set in motion. I have the means and the methods. We will hopefully become a part of a very small conservative community and put Nashville in the rear view mirror. Nashville is the next Austin, TX.

Los Angeles just Elected Nithya Raman, a dues-paying member of the Democratic Socialists of America, to be their next Mayor.
Raman oversaw all fraud as the chair of the homelessness committee and despite having a $1 billion budget, homelessness rose. She is directly responsible for funneling your tax dollars to scammers and voted more than 60 times against no-camping zones for homeless encampments.
She has called to defund the police, voted against hiring 170 more LAPD officers and now she reportedly plans to fire the LAPD chief. She also vowed to audit LAPD’s policies to ensure they follow Los Angeles’ sanctuary city ordinance to protect illegal aliens. The LAPD union is warning of "Armageddon" when she enters office.
The Socialist takeover of America's cities is here.
God help Los Angeles

We are witnessing in real time a huge shift in the evolution of the Western world. White women are openly celebrating the influx of men who will rape and murder them, who will bring in religions that will oppress them in the next 20 years. They celebrate the downfall of their own.
