Pradhama drishtya kuttakkar - average. This movie is a poor attempt @ aping the success of the Drishyam franchise. Lot of loop holes. There was no need to hide the murder. It was self defence. The criminal overpowered lady constable, took her gun, attacked police, died in chaos.

Babita Singh reporting is a very good movie. Nimisha Sajayan is terrific here. In fact I started watching this movie for her. This is a movie which celebrates subtlety. It doesn’t throw feminism on your face, showcases humans as they’re. When Baby comes into her own, we rejoice.

Uniqlo has become terrible in fashion, trying to push some barrel pants, loose cotton pants, flaring jeans etc. No, no one is going to wear these stupid trousers. Their blouses r already bad, no sense. The leggings were great, joggers trousers useful. They stopped all that. 😕

I’m extremely angry with Amazon Prime series Vadhandhi 2. The makers r trying 2 push lesbian relationship between underage kids in a village. The show is getting flak from general audiences while the paid reviews & woke media praise the show. Is the Tamil audience ok with this?

Vadhandhi season 2 was underwhelming. Instead of a crisp, taut thriller it went everywhere. Many loose ends left untied. An uncomfortable Sasikumar, no idea why he’s a Muslim. Final 2 episodes terrible. Can’t write a decent climax? Bring gay/lesbian & hope people r convinced. ☹️

Chinna chinna aasai. One of the worst movies of this year. The director is an idiot. She wants Tamil audience. But all Tamil characters in this movie, esp Thambi Ramaiya or the tour group people, r very bad people. Malayalees, Hindi, Kannada speakers r all good, Tamils r bad. ☹️

The trend in Malayalam horror/ thriller movies is that the evil is still lurking in the end. Brahmayugam, Kalamkaval or Dies irae etc. I absolutely hate these endings. I don’t want a stupid sequel. Let good triumph over evil. The film makers think they’re “smart”. 😑

Project Hail Mary was a disappointment. The BGM was disastrous. It just didn’t convey the meaning. Important details were never explained properly, the makers probably thought everyone must have read the book. There was no panic, no sense of urgency or doom, nothing. Fell flat.

Watched Telugu movie #Dhandoraa on Prime. While it started as the usual “nasukkappatta, pidhukkappatta” caste discrimination movie, it evolved into something extraordinary. Highly impressed by the honesty of the makers & terrific performances by the cast.

Coolie is one of the worst movies I hv seen. Horror show. The screenplay is so convoluted, Rajni didn’t deserve this bad. Neighbouring state actors wasted, Nag shd never have accepted the role. Upendra (no one in TN knows), Soubin is tiresome. Shruti did well in a lousy movie.

#ParanthuPo is a beautiful movie. A breath of fresh air. People are good, families run on love, random strangers r full of kindness. Kids are delightfully unpredictable. Didn’t think I wd like the movie this much, but here it is. 🙂

Vettaiyan had potential, but it just went everywhere. Rajinikanth came up with great expressions & a couple of one liners. “Ennada pottunnu suttutte”, “muttaal, entha pondaattida purushan solrathai ketpa. Phonai vai”. Movie is a disappointment. Anirudh sheer torture.

#lubberpandhu is a beautiful movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it watching it on hotstar! 👍
