A year ago in Davos I predicted a "Dreadnought moment" for AI.

Is DeepSeek the Dreadnought moment?
No, it's just a small change in the recipe, but it's indicative that there's plenty more room for innovation. DeepSeek won't be the last DeepSeek ...

The dangers of screening when you dont know what to do with the result.
hello @wesstreeting : honestly, the best thing to do is ensure that the UK National Screening Committee are doing the best job in critically appraising up to date evidence and making fair recommendations;

I cant believe this was even proposed. From a genetic testing perspective alone it would be hopelessly undeliverable: no capacity, expensive, impossible to follow up clinically at scale, so almost certainly inequitable, and highly likely to be damaging to individuals. Bonkers.
