Sequencing wizards, fearless assemblers, nosey neighbors, and dancers…we are the #genomewarriors! It’s all fun and games until someone throws their computer out the window.

Re-uping for the last day of voting! We are in tight with a few other projects. If you love (or moderately enjoy) free, accessible, and high-quality genomic data, please consider taking 30 seconds to vote so we can continue to develop our GenomeArk database!
Twitter-verse, please take a moment to vote for us in this DataWorks challenge - the money will go towards support our repository of freely-accessible genome sequencing and assembly data! Look for the GenomeArk submission: 🧬🐳🐅🐦herox.com/dataworks
If you're at @NanoporeConf today, go visit our warriors @niveshjain1 and @tilley_tatiana to find out more about our use of UL-ONT for vertebrate genomics!

Fantastic work by several Genome Warriors (@giulio_formenti , @erichjarvis , @ofedrigo ) and collaborators!
A nice paper led by our group just came out in Nature. Proud and humbled to be part of this work. nature.com/articles/s41586-0…

I just received the most chunk of data from @genomewarriors. The very first Southern Corroboree frog genome!!!! Getting this genome has been such a long time in the making. Having it should help change the course of the conservation for this highly threatened species. Stay tuned!
A fantastic effort from both past and present VGL scientists, and all others involved!
Congrats to @biohollis and the VGP Sample Preservation group on a really informative paper. @genomewarriors, @genomeark, @jackie_mcastle, @erichjarvis, @ofedrigo. doi.org/10.1093/gigascience/…
