A very good question which can be asked practically the entire European political elite.
Europeans never supported mass-immigration from distant cultures and they have become increasingly vocal about it in recent years as the migration problem has spiralled out of control.
In almost every European country, instead of listening to the people, the political elite has doubled down and continued the project of demographic change.
What is it that makes them so stubborn regarding this specific issue? Why do they refuse to start mass-deporting illegal migrants and foreign criminals?

Ukrainians knocked out Moscow’s main oil refinery
The Gazprom Neft Moscow Oil Refinery completely halted operations after an attack by Ukrainian drones on Sunday. Reuters reports this, citing three industry sources.
According to them, after the drones fell on the refinery grounds, both of the main crude oil distillation units caught fire.
It may take several weeks to repair the damage and restore the refinery’s operations.
It turned out to be a beautiful little dragon…

Russia appears to be preparing for a renewed escalation in Ukraine as efforts to negotiate an end to the war have stalled, according to people familiar with discussions in Moscow cited by Bloomberg.
The Kremlin is reportedly considering more intensive conventional ballistic missile strikes against Kyiv and infrastructure in other Ukrainian cities. Russian officials increasingly view Ukrainian attacks on refineries, logistics facilities and other targets inside Russia as attacks enabled by NATO support.
The shift comes after U.S. backed negotiations failed to produce an agreement. Moscow continues to demand Ukrainian concessions, including territory in Donetsk, while Kyiv has rejected those terms. Expectations for upcoming U.S.- Russian diplomatic contacts are reportedly low.
The escalation is occurring amid an expanding exchange of strikes. Ukraine has targeted Russian oil and logistics infrastructure, while Russia has continued attacks on Ukrainian energy and other infrastructure. Ukraine's limited supply of air-defense interceptors remains a concern.
