“When we have our players (back) & we don’t screw things up, we’re really hard to beat”, LSU Head Coach Lane Kiffin’s response to the question “what does it take to run the table”…LSU has a bye week followed by Alabama, Texas, Tennessee & Arkansas. Volume up!

It was indeed a day. Auburn your defense leaks like a sieve but your hospitality is second to none. Thank you 🙏

Fair play to Auburn fans who have stayed in their droves until the 4th Quarter. No doubt Golesh will be telling his players to give the fans something to shout about. Auburn have been unable to stop LSU all day. #wareagle #GeauxTigers – at Auburn, AL
I know it's a terrible video but a flyover is a flyover. I have said it before and will say it again, European events are poorer for a lack of flyovers....#wareagle – at Auburn, AL
At the point Leavitt scores the TD to make the game 31-10 (with the extra point), the San Francisco 49ers scouts get up and leave. Note: NY Giants scout is still here.

And in fact the opposite happens. Sam Leavitt throws to Jackson Harris who takes the ball 70 yards to restore the (LSU) Tigers 14 point lead. What was a very loud Jordan Hare Stadium got quiet real quick.

QB Byrum Brown rushes for 34 yards before taking the ball over the line himself in the resulting play to bring Auburn within 7 points of LSU. Auburns needs a defensive stop before half time… #wareagle – at Auburn, AL
Student gets a chance to kick for charity & cash from 25 yards. Just like McAfee on Gameday. Kick is terrible, awful, barely makes 5 yards. Stadium announcer calls “kick is no good”….press box descends into hearty laughter. #wareagle – at Auburn, AL

We are off & running at Jordan Hare stadium with an unnecessary roughness call on the first kick of the game. Feels like it’s going to be a good but spicy affair…

We’re about an hour away from what is a very early kick (11am CT), the stadium isn’t half full at this point (student section is packed) & it’s hard to hear anything other than the crowd noise. What it will be like at kickoff I can only imagine. #wareagle

In case anyone hasn’t seen the abundance of social media posts over the last 24hrs I have started a week long tour of SEC country. First up LSU @ Auburn. So this weeks “It’s Only SEC” is a little skewed towards my hosts, the Auburn Tigers 🐅 #wareagle
