Pulled another SP, Pudding. After comparing both SPs I own with JPN pulls from other posts, I can safely say they’re 99% the same, if not identical. So I owe everyone a correction: I was wrong about the SP quality. The “glitter” we expected was mostly the JPN stream lighting making it look more dramatic, while the US reveal did the opposite. The embossing and texture are kinda there too, just much subtle layering effect. The real EB05 concern is overall QC and US packing. My half case has honestly been flawless so far. Clean cuts, good centering, and thankfully both SPs are in great condition. But others, including friends of mine, have gotten sticky cards, rough cuts, surface damage, damaged JPN printed AAs, and wildly inconsistent pull rates. I think it depends heavily on where/when in US it was printed. I’ve talked about the JPN vs overseas QC gap for years. With more production now happening in the US, that’s where we need to keep the pressure on Bandai.
