the ones waiting to be told how to use ai will be waiting forever
nobody is ever going to fully hand out their manual for ai
if they gave the whole playbook away, everyone would be ahead
the ones winning just try it on their own until it clicks
I'm starting to sense a divide in the tech industry:
- People thriving on autonomy who are reinventing how they work and what tools they use with AI: LOTS of work, but they're enjoying it and getting very efficient
- People used to being mentored / trained / or simply told what to do and how. Frustrated with the lack of guidance from management on what to do with AI; also frustrated by seeing some of their peers thriving; increasingly bitter about AI and the state of the industry, as a whole
Neither group seems to be aware that there's another group, or have empathy for the other group
polymarket's monthly volume went from $4.1b last october to $10.6b by march.
now they're a preferred pm for the nba, mlb and nhl.
glad to have them as our partners at arcadia. over a year in and it's still amazing working with them.
Prediction markets just went courtside.
@Polymarket is now the preferred prediction market exchange of the NBA. Bringing official league data and exclusive activations to basketball fans all around the world.
We’re proud to be working alongside Polymarket to amplify this next chapter and bring it to new audiences.
influencer marketing isn't dying. lazy influencer marketing is.
and honestly, good riddance.
every few months someone posts "influencers don't work anymore" and every time i check what they ran it's the same thing.
> booked whoever had the biggest number.
> sent a script written by legal.
> no tracking, no follow up.
> one post and ghosted.
then they blame the channel lol.
meanwhile the brands that take it seriously are quietly eating. same budget, way better results, because they treat it like an actual strategy and not a checkbox.
we see both sides every week at arcadia. the gap between the two is getting massive.
I get asked all the time how I run 100+ influencer campaigns without everything catching fire.
People expect a growth hack.
It’s authenticity. Cringe word. Still the only thing that prints.
Most “influencer marketing” is lazy media buying with a face on it.
What we do is different.
Onboarding.
Scripting.
The story they tell.
Every line of copy.
How they say it on camera.
The posts that look casual took the most work.
At Arcadia we built a machine that runs this across hundreds of creators.
Millions paid out to our network. Campaigns that actually convert.
Right product. Right creator. Right audience.
That’s the game. Everything else is cosplay.
