Selbstbedienungskassen sind schon eine geniale Erfindung. Der Supermarkt spart Personal, ich übernehme die Arbeit und werde dabei von einer Maschine beaufsichtigt. Ich scanne meine Einkäufe, suche minutenlang die richtige Brötchensorte auf dem Bildschirm und hinter mir wächst eine Schlange, die meine Fähigkeiten als Kassierer zunehmend kritisch bewertet. Früher hat das ein Mitarbeiter für mich gemacht. Heute mache ich es selbst und habe dabei auch noch Leistungsdruck. Am Ende fragt mich die Maschine, ob ich einen Kassenbon möchte. Nein. Ich möchte eine Lohnabrechnung.
