- 2000er Jahre: Du nimmst Vioxx gegen deine Kniebeschwerden.
I have a feeling that DOT is going to underperform everything
Lindt has an active lawsuit going against it for elevated levels of lead and cadmium
Most interestingly Lindt's lawyers themselves have suggested Lindt is not "expertly crafted" or "excellent" but that that is just advertising
So if even Lindt itself doesn't consider itself good, why should I be eating Lindt chocolate?
Now I eat Vivani which sources from Panama which seems cleaner chocolate beans
And then there were 11.
Climate Change is destroying the 12 Apostles. Unless we take real action on climate change - they will all be destroyed by rising sea levels.

I thought asset conversion was when you have some real asset like USD and you convert it into DOT in order to lose your money 😅
I think people get confused as to what "Asset Conversion" is and mistakenly try to draw comparisons to EVM-Land DEXs.
Asset Conversion is the assetConversion pallet.
It exists in the Polkadot Asset Hub runtime.
You can permissionlessly create pools for token pairs using assetConversion CreatePool.
You can permissionlessly add liquidity using assetConversion addLiquidity.
The things that people call "DEXs" in this case (on Polkadot Asset Hub) are (currently) just front end UIs. They simply tap into these pools.
It doesn't matter if it's KheopsSwap, Nova Wallet, or Hello_Kitty_Swap_420.
So don't ask what DEX the liquidity is on, as any "DEX" can just tap into these pools.
With regard to "where is the swap activity coming from" - you also won't know, unless the particular front end you are using adds some systemRemark or something along with your token swap :)
You probably can make some web app for these swaps in about 10 minutes with your favourite AI btw.

Mutual Information (I(X;Y))
所以,智能依赖的是世界内部存在稳定的dependency;
如果模型只能捕捉局部统计相关性时,它表现为模式匹配;
当它能够形成更长程、更抽象、更稳定的表示时,就出现泛化;
当不同领域的内部结构能够被重新组合,就表现为类比和联想;

Medicine's record on the man who turned out to be right is the record of what it did to him first.
Semmelweis, 1847: doctors should wash their hands between the mortuary and the maternity ward. Ridiculed, sacked, died in an asylum in 1865. Accepted twenty years after his death.
Alice Stewart, 1956: an x-ray of a pregnant woman gives the child cancer. Ignored by every radiologist in the country. Accepted twenty-five years later.
Kilmer McCully, 1969: homocysteine damages arteries, and cholesterol is not the whole story. Eased out of Harvard. Accepted thirty years later.
John Yudkin, 1972: sugar, not fat, is the killer. Career buried by the fat men, conferences closed to him, died out of print. Accepted forty years later.
Stanley Prusiner, 1982: a protein with no genes can be infectious. Laughed at in the corridors. Nobel Prize, 1997.
Barry Marshall, 1984: stomach ulcers are an infection. Drank the bacteria to prove it because nobody would run the trial. Nobel Prize, 2005.
Frances Kelsey, 1960: refused to license thalidomide because the data was thin. Called obstructive for two years. Then the babies were born.
Every one of them was outnumbered by a consensus, and the consensus was wrong every single time it was counted.
Consensus is not a form of evidence. It is a form of employment.
hard to believe that the market cap is still above 1 billion USD
POLKADOT IST ENTWEDER KOMPLETT TOT ODER GENAU DESHALB GERADE EIN VERDAMMT INTERESSANTES LOTTERIELOS. 😂
knapp 16 €.
Also rund 984 € verbrannt. -98,4 %. 💀
≈ 19.726 €
Also fast 20x.
The identity may feel more human but the losses for the investors feel inhuman 😭
You're not a wallet address. You're a person.
dotID is making identity on @Polkadot feel a little more human.
Verified on-chain identity. Human-readable .id usernames. Your keys stay yours.
What people didn't get was that the time to spend aggressively with the treasury was when the price of DOT was high. Instead they chose to cut the spending and now that the token is basically worthless there is no hope because every small expense is a huge amount of DOT
I don't understand why they haven't already left. I met some people from the team in person, they are quite smart, so why are they staying? 😇
I've spent years in the Polkadot ecosystem, and this is the kind of signal I think people should take seriously.
Hydration is one of the few teams that has actually shipped products, built liquidity and given users something to do.
If a team like that is frustrated enough to seriously consider leaving Polkadot, the ecosystem has a bigger problem than another technical roadmap can solve.
You don't retain builders with architecture.
You retain them with users, liquidity, distribution and a reason to believe they can grow.
Polkadot can survive losing narratives.
It can't keep losing products.

If your shoulders always feel tight or rounded forward, try this.
These movements open up the shoulders and upper back while getting you moving through positions you probably don’t use much during the day.
Nothing complicated. Just a few controlled reps done regularly can make your shoulders feel a lot less stiff.
