2 weeks ago I got this DM:Â
“Hello, I am looking for some info on a PLL card my kid pulled this weekend in SLC. Not really a collector but let each of my kids grab a few packs at the archers game. It’s a Brennan o Neil gold auto 1/1. Not his rookie season but from 2025.. Any idea the possible value? “
I told him how I’d value it & asked if he wanted to sell it, which he did. Less than 48 hours later I brought him multiple offers and we agreed on a sale to a big BO collector.Â
The card arrived yesterday and will be off to its new home Monday. This is my 3rd Brennan O’Neill #1/1 sale and getting your hands on awesome cards like this is always very cool, but what makes this deal special is the story and the handwritten note they included….
A father bought his son a couple packs of cards at a game and now, they’ll forever have this story about how those packs became a new stick & helmet for the son and a bedroom refresh for his sisters.Â
This is what matters. This is exactly what it’s all about.
Good morning Syracuse Lacrosse Faithful. I’m not here to publicly blame anyone or anything so I would move on if you’re looking for that. I don’t really know what to say besides that I’m a little sad this morning and especially sad for these seniors. When you watch a particular group as much as we have these seniors, you start to really want it for them. After all, these seniors gave us, the fans, so much. Every season felt hopeful after years of uncertainty. Every season felt like they could make a playoff push and they did. Back to back final fours.
They might not have won a championship but it’s not as if that’s a choice they made. I wish we could do yesterday all over again and I’m sure they do as well. They wanted it more than every fan and things just didn’t go their way in the end.
For now, I just want to say thank you to the seniors for all of the memories they gave my family and friends. It was a blast guys and some years I’ll never forget.
Thank you @SpallinaJoey @JimmyMcCool19 and any other player who’s on X that I can’t find.
Anyone have a contact at @CascadeLacrosse? I’m trying to rock the new helmet the whole tailgate and the entire final four. Lifting the mask to take a sip of my drink and converse with the people.
I’ll donate it to a local youth program after I swear. Go Cuse 🍊
Me and the boys down in Virgina this weekend for the Final Four🍊🍊 @mattshaler @BrianKnowsLax @CuseMLAX
Who from lacrosse X is going to the final four?
Where is everyone tailgating?
Any must do’s while in Charlottesville?
I’ll start it off, we’ve got parking for the Blue/Navy lot (all sessions) and seating in section 126 (all sessions).

“You’ve already won a trophy, that’s a given. Now the objective is to make sure that it’s Gold, two hours from now. We don’t want mediocrity, we want another gold.”
