Design for Safety comes out TOMORROW!!! I can’t believe it. For so long this book was just something that existed on my computer, only seen by me and my editors. It belonged only to us, but as of tomorrow it will belong to so many people who want to make their tech safe.

Congratulations to @gleanly for their public launch 🎉 Glean.ly is a repository that allows #UX professionals to store research and data-backed UX insights, allowing them to become accessible for anyone within that organisation 🚀
The Gleanly #UXrepository is now open to the public... We've been working alongside some of the best #UX teams from around the world to build this, now it's out there and ready for anyone to sign-up and start storing and sharing their #userresearch. glean.ly/

This is a sick joke. The CDC misled the American public about the true source of the problem for months and now one of its people is getting an award for cracking the case?!
Congrats to CDC’s Dr. Briss & 2019 Lung Injury Response Team for being #Sammies2020 Science & Environment finalist! They identified the chemical compound responsible for the outbreak of e-cigarette, or vaping, product use-associated lung injury (EVALI): servicetoamericamedals.org/h…

You can learn so much about the driving force behind a company, and their values, by being a user/customer and seeing how they manage an intent to leave. I’m going to start asking more about the offboarding before signing up to anything in the future.

My weirdness claim to fame yet: I've been immortalised in @CoopDigital's "Research the researcher" project as Duke Caboom. 🤔 I presume that's a good thing?
Wrapping up our "Research the researcher" project today with @Kaaleekaa1. Learning how researchers store, communicate and be impactful with their work. Playing it back with the help of the Pixar storytelling arc & Toy Story chars. This is you @danpiddy the knight from Bristol 😎

More companies deploying atomic research approaches to customer insight categorisation and storage. E.g. Uber’s team of 90+ researches (!) created its own tool, based on 3 layers - Insights, Facts, Opportunities medium.com/uber-design/the-p… #UX #Research
