GNFS RESCUE FUEL TANKER DRIVER AND MATE IN AN ACCIDENT AT TAMALE
Firefighters from the Northern Regional Headquarters Sub-Station rescued a fuel tanker driver and his mate after their tanker, carrying about 45,000 litres of diesel, overturned at Adubili Yili in Tamale.
However, firefighters successfully salvaged critical assets, including generators, transformers, and cold compressor units, while protecting adjoining office areas from total loss.
Importantly, no casualties were recorded. The cause of fire is under investigation.
GNFS extends appreciation to all partner agencies, assemblies, private water tanker operators, and stakeholders for their vital support.
