These Adivasi tea garden worker women are anti-nationals. Wish, strict action by WB Gov.🔥 Dissecting their anti-national activities through photos. Part 1 : 🔵 Generations of Adivasi families have lived and worked in this Torsa Tea Garden in Alipurduar district, WB for 150–200 yrs. They built homes, cultivated land through their labour. So silly. They thought, they were the owners of this land! 😅 🔵 Funny that their ownership rights over their residential and agricultural land have never been legally recognised. There are 11–12 lakh stupid tea garden residents across the region are effectively landless in legal terms. 🤣 🔵 So, the proposed Jaygaon Land Port project at the India–Bhutan border began around 6 months ago. 🔵 Approximately 80 families are said to face eviction or displacement due to this project. The funnier part is : ♦️ No satisfactory rehabilitation arrangements, imminent threats to their agricultural land and livelihood. ♦️ Uncertainty across the population there over the location of resettlement. ♦️ Even inadequate or disputed compensation requiring for land ownership documents these families cannot produce despite generations of habitation. 😃 Part 2 : 🔵 So those lesser citizens sat for indefinite peaceful sit-in lasting over 100 days, conducted beside the project site. Their illegal demands were : ♦️ Recognition of tea garden workers' residential and agricultural land rights. ♦️ No eviction without adequate rehabilitation. ♦️ Fair compensation before displacement. ♦️ Protection of homes and livelihoods. ♦️ A halt to further eviction until the rehabilitation and compensation questions are properly addressed. They thought this will work! 😅 Part 3 : 🔵 During those 100 days protest when the locals were protesting against the land acquisition there was no police complaint of obstruction or violence. 🔵 However, bulldozers arrived on Nov 2 to proceed with work on “disputed land”, ignoring the families’ repeated demands for compensation. And when these lesser-citizens+humans protested, 11 Adivasis were arrested (7 men, 4 women). 🔵 The FIR registered on Nov 3 was based on a written complaint dated Nov 2 filed by Rakesh Kumar Meena, a Junior Engineer at the Land Ports Authority of India. Construction at the LPAI site in Gotabari, Torsa Tea garden. 🔥 Resume : 🔵 Despite the arrests, those anti-national women and labourers returned to the protest site yesterday, on Nov 4. These illegals are demanding the release of their people, fair compensation and rehabilitation. 🔵 I think these illegals should be given no opportunity and put into some detention camp immediately. What if their forefathers spent their lives on this very land? 🔵 Possibly, there may be some Pakistani, Chinese or Soros funding in hide. A probe must be conducted. What if those bulldozers knock my home tomorrow? * I am confident this unimportant news wouldn't appear on your Timeline, and even if somehow it appears, it would be ignored.
