RETURN TO SCHOOL UPDATE: With the tremendous progress made yesterday through campus cleanups & restoration of power in our community, we will bring all school-based & district staff back on Wednesday, Oct. 16, to plan & prepare to welcome students to school on Thursday, Oct. 17.

We are working to ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff as we reopen on Monday. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. (4/4)

WEATHER UPDATE #3: We hope all of our HCPS families, staff, and their loved ones are safe. Our schools will remain closed through Friday due to #HurricaneHelene.

WEATHER UPDATE #2: After speaking with local emergency management officials on the potential impact of #TropicalStormHelene, we have decided to close school on Wednesday and Thursday. Our top priority is to keep our community safe.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Let us also offer our support and gratitude to the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Congratulations to the 600-plus students who received their diplomas this morning from our Adult Education & Hillsborough Technical Colleges programs! We wish you the best as you enter the workforce, continue your education, or seek a new adventure in life. 🎉

WEATHER UPDATE: HCPS leaders are closely monitoring the weather for Tuesday, Jan. 9. All schools will be open as scheduled tomorrow. After-school activities and sports will also continue as scheduled. (1/3)
